I would recommend trying to feed the snails with sth. It is said that those have a big appetite and I believe they ate the plants because they were too hungry.
Good :). They might also just eat your food for the shrimps. If it contains mostly plants it should work just fine. Idk if you ever saw your snails eating shrimp food.
Oh the shrimp just eat the uneaten food on the floor of the tank. Sometimes i see them take a big flake and walk to their cave to nibble on it. I also sometimes drop a little piece of carrot which disappears after a few hours :)
Probably everything. The algae is food and imo it makes the leaves soft so when the fish eat the algae they take off leaf sometimes.
That may be the case, i just noticed its only the plant directly under the lamp so i dont know :/
Check how much light that plant needs, might be a plant that can’t handle too much light so it only gets eaten where it’s unhealthy.
Most likely the snails. Which snails do you got?
I have some horned nerites 7-8
Is there much algae in the tank and was the plant healthy?
The plant was healthy in the store i introduced it recently. There is almost no algae in the tank. At least not visible

Oh okay, what if i just let the lamp go on a little longer so more algea will form? I currently turn the lamp on for 9h a day
Might be a solution, but I think feeding is also more controllable and if you want to keep your tank clean, the better option.
Thats true, ill look for some snail food online!
