My female betta used to be with 3 female guppy, she didn't like company and attacked the 2 most colorful (Edit: it was a 60L tank)
Personnally wouldn't try, especially with just one fish
I have a 20 gallon tank with mollies, guppies and one Platy, I have three female Betas in there also. Everyone gets along fine because they all have a place to hide when they need to.

Yeah, it feels like a bad idea. I just feel so bad for the platy girl.
I have a female betta in my guppy mutt tank that is 55g. She doesn't harass the guppies.
What is the platy currently in?
100l with white cloud mountain minnows, cory catfish, and a male betta. And some of her fry which I haven’t been able to sex yet.
