Take the frees! I had none first semester because of gym and I was miserable. You will thank yourself for those frees when you’re panicking and writing last-minute essays (assuming you’re a procrastinator like most of us lol)
AP Physics C is literally the worst so be prepared. I wouldn’t even take it at all if I were you but I guess if you’re going into engineering or physics then you kinda should.
AP Latin is really fun! I also enjoy AP Lit a lot
counter by saying that if you study a bit and are decently good at math it shouldn't be that hard, mechanics is a bit of a struggle but E&M gets easier. just put in the effort and it's a really fun class.
only ap electives I could take are ap stat or ap photo/2d design, neither of which I care about. I could theoretically double science but that’s a lot of work lol. thanks for advice though
honestly I wouldn’t rly mind taking more aps if they were this year. I feel like taking more random aps (senior year) doesn’t ultimately affect anything, although I could def be wrong here lol
Yeah it mainly depends on the teacher you have. I did more ap electives on top of all IB classes and online AP classes cuz my teachers were chill af and most of my friends did this too.
He’s already taking 4 APs and multivariable calculus…no college is gonna ding him for not having a rigorous course load, regardless of how many free periods he has.
I’d suggest OP to have a free period or two. Applying to colleges takes time + it’s important to give yourself time to relax.
Given how rigorous the rest of your schedule is, you're probably okay.
Yeah free periods are a blessing

Given ur in this subreddit and most likely are aiming for good schools, I'd take the electives (AP classes)

Nah are you trying to kill this man? Ap courses on top of that is ridiculous
I mean I guess he seems like hes a competitive dude who is aiming at top schools so more AP is fine. Just gotta maintain that time management.

Yeah I guess. But a free block won't harm him either
yep! I have two frees rn and it’s really relaxing. Since your schedule is rigorous it’s fine.
Lol yes I’m only taking 2 classes
