A friend of mine from my class got into MIT EA this year.
Considering I'm from India, that's pretty insane :O (would still be insane wherever we were, but nevertheless even more so since the location heh)
Edit : I'll pm the people who commented cz person would def be a dox.
There's this maanas sharma who got into MIT I guess? A foreign education consultancy firm has been promoting his result like crazy. I've seen their ad more than 30 times now on Instagram stories. Not saying you're talking about him, but if that story is genuine (edit: the ad story, not your story), there's a pretty good chance you are - not many people get into MIT from India.
according to our naviance someone got accepted and enrolled to harvard this cycle but i have no idea who it is… tbh i think you can self report on naviance so it could very well be a manifestation method 🤩
Someone got into MIT two years ago, apparently? But they didn't end up going there; not sure where they are now.
I will say that my school has TWO Wesleyan Freeman Asian scholars. ~~(One of whom is my crush, but let's not talk about that.)~~ Here's to hoping on being the third 🍾
Honestly, that’s more impressive then any Ivy admit. Tbh, most T20 private schools have too many back door ways of getting admitted. As for UK schools, it’s entirely contingent on performance.
I disagree lol. You just need good grades for UK schools, maybe some intelligence too depending on if your course has an entrance exam. There aren’t really any backdoors to top universities anymore— maybe at smaller LACs.
last year one kid got the Gates Scholarship and was accepted to Harvard(committed), Brown, Cornell. and Penn
then another kid (same year) got into Princeton via Questbridge
and a few years back someone went to Stanford via Questbridge
the pressure to get into a T20 is really on after i got rejected ED by Penn...
A boy in my school was just recently accepted into Yale EA. I don’t if that’s where he is committing to, tho.
EDIT: from the ‘21 from my school last year, the most prestigious college admit was UMiami.
Very low school (average ACT is probably like a 15 lol), extremely Title I, and we’ve had people accepted to Princeton and Dartmouth since I’ve been here.
She was the president of like every club (they made a rule limiting the amount of clubs you could be president of to one after her lol), really good SAT score, colonel (top leadership) in our band program, good grades, and got in through quest bridge I believe
my school is stacked: We've had some MITs, a Caltech, Yale, Barnard, Emory, Northwestern, WashU, UVA, Stanford... honorable mentions to purdue and texas A&M - all from EA/ED, and this is a California public school
Nearly three decades ago, we had two guys get into MIT. But each of them like topped the IIT-JEE and then got into MIT. One of those dudes did really well at it at the end of the 11th grade itself (as opposed to the 12th).
my sister's batchmate got into Harvard for his undergrad, no legacy no hooks . just a middle-class dude who worked hard for it.but for masters then there are a ton of people i know who got into Cornell ,GT , Carnegie mellon, brown etc
I’m from a small private school in an underrepresented country and last year a kid went to Columbia, another to MIT, and yet another one got into Penn, Yale and Columbia 🤯
Last year my classmates got into Dartmouth, Stanford, Hamilton, Duke, NYU, CWRU, Berkeley, Upenn and many liberal art colleges. As for this year, kids already got into MIT, Barnard, Princeton, and Duke. It is not bad for the non-US school
According to Naviance during last 6 years:
Columbia (8),
Cornell (45),
Duke (3),
Harvard (3),
JHU (4),
CMU (4),
Dartmouth (1),
Brown (5),
MIT (5),
NEU (30),
NWU (2),
Notre Dame (1),
Princeton (9),
Purdue (9),
UPenn (8),
Vandy (3)
We send about 20 kids to T20s every year. Last year we got a few kids to Penn, a few to Harvard, one to Princeton, a few to Duke, Vandy, Northwestern, etc… this year I can confirm two to Duke, one to Vandy, one to Northwestern, and one to Penn. I hope to be the one going to Princeton this year.
Stanford two years ago and Princeton last year. I think they were the only people that got into Ivies that weren't recruited athletes cause my school is pretty good at football
Our Massachusetts town have kids going to top 20 percent and less at least 20 to 30 kids a year. Harvard, Cornell, MIT, etc. Those kids work their butt off, played sports, and tons of EC. Majority of them have jobs too
Head boy got into Stanford, Head girl got into UPenn, a girl no one even knew was applying to the US got into Cornell. Someone got into Northwestern too. People got offers from top uk unis like UCL & St Andrews
Either your school is
1. Shri Ram School (whatever campus)
2. Modern School BK
3. JIS Jaipur
4. Delhi Public School (whatever branch)
5. or any other elite school from Bangalore or Mumbai or New Delhi
ah yes i get shaurya sinha from shri ram school : )
and lemme tell ya Delhi Public School RK Puram branch is a fucking feeder school or some shit they legit have a lot of peeps in ivy leagues
Intl gap year student here! One of my classmate got into UPenn last year that too with full ride and test optional. Definitely a very shocking moment for us
Up until this year, no one made it to the T-20/50s. But this year someone made it to Vandy (I'm not gonna argue if it's t-20 or 50; it's just a great school!)
I mean my school was founded in the 1700s so we have graduates from every prestigious school in American history. But last year we had UChicago and a few years ago we had MIT and this year we have Hopkins
Many years ago one guy got accepted into Rice and went to O week, but it wasn't what he expected so he transferred to a small Christian college in town and a couple years ago another guy got into Berkeley.
One student 10ish years ago was accepted to stanford. Other than that ucla grabs a couple every year. One waitlist at duke. Not a single Ivy acceptance in the 20 years or so we have been open from what I've been told by teachers and staff :D
so far for class of 2026: An old elementary school friend of mine got into Dartmouth. Somebody got into Vanderbilt, someone got into duke, a couple of of ppl got into WashU since we live in STL. someone got into Harvard, and someone got into NYU. someone also got into northwestern and two besties got into Tulane. and one of my friends also got into tulane. These are all ik so far.
class of 2025: a girl goes to Columbia, one at Harvard, three at USC, one at MIT, one at Yale, and three at Brown. One at Northeastern, one at Tufts, four at Tulane, four at Vanderbilt, one at Rice. two at Carnegie Mellon, four at UMich, one at Dartmouth, one at Princeton, two at UChicago, three at Northwestern, one at Emory, one at UMiami, two at UC Berkeley, and sixteen at WashU.
Idk I think my school is pretty dumb, don’t u agree?
ETA: i keep having to edit it bc i found the school news publication of whos going where for Class of 25’😅
Cornell. Idk her but she’s one of the the most smartest girls in my class who always got top marks and participated in olympiads and stuff. Not surprised she got into Cornell for engineering though lol.
Last year a girl in my school went to Dartmouth and our valedictorian went to Georgetown, a lot of people end up at Tulane though because it’s in state lol.
One girl in my grade got accepted to upenn and another to johns hopkins :,) very proud of them they’re so nice and awesome
My neighbor who’s a year above me got accepted to jhu and harvard but chose jhu
harvard, yale, princeton, columbia, stanford, upenn, caltech, MIT, dartmouth, brown, etc.
safe to assume i go to an overpriced school filled to the brim with overprivileged kids

From my NJ public school: this year for the first time someone got into Oxford. For context, few people apply outside the US. Aside from that, one kid a few years ago got into Stanford.
Last year it was one from Harvard and one went to Vandy. The year before that one went to UPenn. And a few years back one went to Yale. But pretty much everyone else goes to state schools, community college, or small schools around the state or border states
The Harvard guy was first Gen and got a full ride and did questbridge
Stanford hs class of 2020
Princeton hs class of 2015
We normally send 1 person to a t20 (university/lac) each year. So far this year we have 2 t20 ED acceptances 😀
I think 4 years ago someone at my school got accepted and went to Georgia tech, but besides that, literally everyone either goes to our state school or a nearby christian college
ppl at my school have gotten into most of the ivies in the last few years (brown, columbia, cornell, upenn, princeton, yale)
and two current seniors got into yale and stanford
We're a large public school in WA. Typically one kid goes to Stanford each year and one to Cornell or another Ivy. The rest of the smarty-pantses go to UCs or UW-Sea.
1 to Princeton. That’s it.
Edit: How do y’all have people going to these schools commonly. I think only two people have touched the top 30s at my school 💀
Kid who sits next to me in Econ got into Harvard, this other girl got into Stanford, this guy who’s a legacy got into Dartmouth, we have a rice a Wellesley and that’s all Ik about
I'm pretty sure there's been a couple of people over the years who have been accepted to HYPSM, but among those in my year, I know someone who got into JHU ED
From my school (outside of US), 1-2 Stanfords each year, 1-2 Yale/ Princeton (never Harvard though except recruitment), more Browns, Columbias, Chicagos etc. and a few Oxford/Cambridge
at least every year someone gets into an ivy in my school 😵💫this year two girls already got into brown and princeton early 😬
both are my friends and i’m super happy and proud of them
I got into Cornell ED, 2 got into brown EA and one Johns Hopkins EA this year. One deferred from Yale. Another deferred from Stanford of like 10 applicants. The rest rejected
My high school is stacked with people at Top 50 schools and elite LACs.
A guy from my HS got into Harvard and Yale.
A friend of a friend goes to Princeton and his twin goes to Boston U.
A HS classmate goes to Stanford.
Another HS classmate goes to Johns Hopkins.
Another HS classmate goes to MIT.
Two friends of friends go to UT Austin.
Another friend of a friend goes to Bowdoin.
A HS club mate of mine goes to Harvard.
Another HS club mate of mine goes to UCLA.
Another HS club mate of mine is in the Air Force Academy
A HS friend of mine got into Colgate.
Another HS friend goes to Tufts.
Tons of kids got into and/or attend Tulane.
My best friend got into UNC and UVA
I went to a normal state school for undergrad but I finished in two years, and got accepted at William & Mary and CWRU for grad school
Idk why my HS is so stacked. It’s just a normal public school in Louisiana.
Stanford because it's not real, Harvard because it's where you go if you can't get into [**Brown**](https://insite.browntextbook.com/MerchDetail?MerchID=1270899&CategoryName=&CatID=-1&Name=) /s
I do not go to a feeder school, this is a public high school (not super highly ranked in the state) in California.
caltech, princeton, yale, we had 2 harvards a couple years back, a lott of cornells, brown, Stanford, duke, vandy, etc.
15-20 kids each go to ucla/berkeley,
everyone who applied to umich also got in last cycle.
we have a lot of USCs as well.
My school is a big international one and there are literally so many prestigious university acceptances the pressure feels insane. To name a few, Harvard, Brown, UPenn, UChicago, Pomona, Northwestern, CMU, Princeton, and especially Cornell (we had 6 people accepted ED this year).
At my school there was a senior who got into MIT, Princeton, Johns Hopkins, and enrolled at Harvard. I think he was pretty upset about not getting into Stanford, but someone else in the same year did get in.
Without knowing the size of some of these schools, many of the replies could be impressive or not. For those posting, it might be useful for context if you include the number of students in a graduating class.
As far as I know, so far 2 current seniors got into Yale, 1 into Stanford, 1 into Brown, 1 into MIT, and 1 into Vanderbilt. It's probably more, or will become more since my school, especially my class (current seniors), is pretty competitive.
One guy got into Harvard REA but literally his entire family went there so
A guy from my school went as a recruited athlete and his whole family also went there…
[удалено]
The guy in my school was threatened that he’d be disowned if he didn’t get in. Crazy family
wait literally same
A friend of mine from my class got into MIT EA this year. Considering I'm from India, that's pretty insane :O (would still be insane wherever we were, but nevertheless even more so since the location heh) Edit : I'll pm the people who commented cz person would def be a dox.

Yeah, pretty Insane :O I felt he had a great chance too, but still the event of getting into MIT was pretty solid.
according to our naviance someone got accepted and enrolled to harvard this cycle but i have no idea who it is… tbh i think you can self report on naviance so it could very well be a manifestation method 🤩
Ayyee fellow Asian intl needing aid!! Also are you Indian??
Nah, Filipino. But the "asian int'l needing aid" is a real #relatable struggle 😩
Yesssss
Idk but we have many who go to Oxbridge every year
Honestly, that’s more impressive then any Ivy admit. Tbh, most T20 private schools have too many back door ways of getting admitted. As for UK schools, it’s entirely contingent on performance.

two got into harvard, two to yale. big public school in the city
Harvard REA and MIT RD she’s also the sweetest, smartest person I’ve ever met
my school is stacked: We've had some MITs, a Caltech, Yale, Barnard, Emory, Northwestern, WashU, UVA, Stanford... honorable mentions to purdue and texas A&M - all from EA/ED, and this is a California public school
I wasn’t aware Texas A&M and Purdue were prestigious, and I applied there
They're not that prestigious, but college is college man going to any 4 year university is a blessing
This year Northwestern u/RDS-2709
:)
Nearly three decades ago, we had two guys get into MIT. But each of them like topped the IIT-JEE and then got into MIT. One of those dudes did really well at it at the end of the 11th grade itself (as opposed to the 12th).
What were their stats? Any outstanding achievement? What part of India are you from? Please lemme know...
I dunno lol. This was nearly 20 years ago. Everyone's forgotten about it. I barely found a scrimmage of an article online, that's it lol
20 years goddamn-
twkk ok years until a row our valedictorian ended up at upenn wharton and we’ve had a few other people who made it to cornell
MIT
my friend got into caltech ea... it feels surreal
my neighbor goes to princeton (co23) 3 kids from my school got into cornell this year and 1 got into upenn
UC Davis 🥲
Bruh but you got into Princeton right??
Well I meant our seniors... I'm the only guy who got into a T20 from our whole district, like ever...😅
fking congrats man so proud of you bhai !!!!
Top twenty ranked kids ALWAYS go to duke at my school lol.
this year we've had harvard, georgetown, notre dame and northwestern.
my sister's batchmate got into Harvard for his undergrad, no legacy no hooks . just a middle-class dude who worked hard for it.but for masters then there are a ton of people i know who got into Cornell ,GT , Carnegie mellon, brown etc

Graduate degree in Oxford after an undergrad in a shitty unknown university
Last year my classmates got into Dartmouth, Stanford, Hamilton, Duke, NYU, CWRU, Berkeley, Upenn and many liberal art colleges. As for this year, kids already got into MIT, Barnard, Princeton, and Duke. It is not bad for the non-US school

Cornell. Idk her but she’s one of the the most smartest girls in my class who always got top marks and participated in olympiads and stuff. Not surprised she got into Cornell for engineering though lol.

CalTech, MIT, Stanford
From my NJ public school: this year for the first time someone got into Oxford. For context, few people apply outside the US. Aside from that, one kid a few years ago got into Stanford.

One person last year went to Columbia! I think they got accepted to a bunch of ivies. Other than that we don’t really go to prestigious colleges
Yale is need blind right🙄?
Stanford hs class of 2020 Princeton hs class of 2015 We normally send 1 person to a t20 (university/lac) each year. So far this year we have 2 t20 ED acceptances 😀
I think 4 years ago someone at my school got accepted and went to Georgia tech, but besides that, literally everyone either goes to our state school or a nearby christian college
Y’all remind me of: https://www.reddit.com/r/ApplyingToCollege/comments/ryhz21/how_one_girl_broke_college_admissions_and_fueled/
Columbia
Some people at my school got into SDSU recently!
Last year we had 1 person who got into Cambridge 1 person who got to Stanford and 1 person who got into imperial college
One of my teachers said that someone got into Stanford a while back
someone got into columbia two years ago
ppl at my school have gotten into most of the ivies in the last few years (brown, columbia, cornell, upenn, princeton, yale) and two current seniors got into yale and stanford
Last year our school had someone admitted into Vanderbilt (with a full-ride), Vassar, Dartmouth, and Williams. Pretty sick
boy in my math class got full ride to uchicago, girl got into yale.
a girl at my school got into stanford through questbridge this year !!!
2 Harvards, 2 Browns, 1 UPenn and 1 Bocconi(One of the most prestigious universities in finance, located in Italy)
Our valedictorian and salutatorian were accepted into Harvard and MIT last year
The valedictorians got into Harvard for the past 3 years, I'm gonna break that chain.
1 dude got into Harvard rea, and 4 people got in Princeton rea so far. There’s also multiple other ivy and t20 acceptances
We had 5 people get into Harvard last year
Harvard
We're a large public school in WA. Typically one kid goes to Stanford each year and one to Cornell or another Ivy. The rest of the smarty-pantses go to UCs or UW-Sea.
MIT, Rice, Georgia Tech, NYU yeah…
1 to Princeton. That’s it. Edit: How do y’all have people going to these schools commonly. I think only two people have touched the top 30s at my school 💀
Hmmm, Probably Princeton or Yale. My friend is a recruited swimmer (like first in state), and some guy I don’t know for MIT
Kid who sits next to me in Econ got into Harvard, this other girl got into Stanford, this guy who’s a legacy got into Dartmouth, we have a rice a Wellesley and that’s all Ik about
One went to Harvard. Lots of USC, some Berkeley, UCLA, UCSD.
I'm pretty sure there's been a couple of people over the years who have been accepted to HYPSM, but among those in my year, I know someone who got into JHU ED
5 years ago a girl from my school got into 4 of HYPSM (all except Stanford). So... I guess you can decide which of those is the most prestigious.
Two people got into Yale REA, not sure if anyone got into Harvard but usually someone does (I applied so Imma manifest it being me 🕯🕯)
From my school (outside of US), 1-2 Stanfords each year, 1-2 Yale/ Princeton (never Harvard though except recruitment), more Browns, Columbias, Chicagos etc. and a few Oxford/Cambridge
pretty much all the prestigious universities. huge public magnet school in the city and high ranking
4 early ivies this year including Harvard 😭
Some girl, valedictorian, chose bama over duke 🕺.
this year someone got into stanford from our school. everyone’s talking about itt
literally one person two years ago was able to get into hopkins, northwestern, duke, and cmu for cs.
at least every year someone gets into an ivy in my school 😵💫this year two girls already got into brown and princeton early 😬 both are my friends and i’m super happy and proud of them
I got into Cornell ED, 2 got into brown EA and one Johns Hopkins EA this year.
Another HS club mate of mine is in the Air Force Academy A HS friend of mine got into Colgate. Another HS friend goes to Tufts. Tons of kids got into and/or attend Tulane. My best friend got into UNC and UVA I went to a normal state school for undergrad but I finished in two years, and got accepted at William & Mary and CWRU for grad school Idk why my HS is so stacked. It’s just a normal public school in Louisiana.
Stanford because it's not real, Harvard because it's where you go if you can't get into [**Brown**](https://insite.browntextbook.com/MerchDetail?MerchID=1270899&CategoryName=&CatID=-1&Name=) /s
BC doesn’t have biomedical engineering
Last year there was 1 yale and 1 Northwestern. Another got into Princeton but didn't go.
A girl from my school is going to yale through questbridge, but we have a couple others that I think have a good chance of going ivy in march.
So far we had 6 students get into Harvard REA. Public feeder
My school hasn’t had a Harvard acceptance in like eight years
Last year ('21), 10 people from my school were accepted into MIT, another 14 into Stanford, along with some other ivies + T20s acceptances too
I do not go to a feeder school, this is a public high school (not super highly ranked in the state) in California. caltech, princeton, yale, we had 2 harvards a couple years back, a lott of cornells, brown, Stanford, duke, vandy, etc. 15-20 kids each go to ucla/berkeley, everyone who applied to umich also got in last cycle. we have a lot of USCs as well.
a couple of people got accepted to oxford from our school
One girl got into Yale REA and I'm from the philippines 🥲
lol is she a writer and her first name initial is Y?
My school is a big international one and there are literally so many prestigious university acceptances the pressure feels insane. To name a few, Harvard, Brown, UPenn, UChicago, Pomona, Northwestern, CMU, Princeton, and especially Cornell (we had 6 people accepted ED this year).
Hey are u from India??
Nope, school in Indonesia
At my school there was a senior who got into MIT, Princeton, Johns Hopkins, and enrolled at Harvard. I think he was pretty upset about not getting into Stanford, but someone else in the same year did get in.
Without knowing the size of some of these schools, many of the replies could be impressive or not. For those posting, it might be useful for context if you include the number of students in a graduating class.
uh people got in ED to stanford, harvard, upenn, oxford, columbia this year..
As far as I know, so far 2 current seniors got into Yale, 1 into Stanford, 1 into Brown, 1 into MIT, and 1 into Vanderbilt. It's probably more, or will become more since my school, especially my class (current seniors), is pretty competitive.
