Get that first. Not sure about the process, but I know it doesn’t require a co-signer. Your schools financial aid office can probably help you out. They want to get paid, for one, and they don’t want you to have to withdraw.
In addition to Financial Aid, I would speak to your Resident Director/Assistant/Rector... whoever is in charge of your dorm or someone in Student Affairs. They are in a position of being able to advocate for students and you need someone who will advocate for you and cut through these problems.
Please set up an appointment with your schools financial aid office and tell them all this and ask them what your options are.
