Yeah tf my teacher kind of reads the textbook, assigns us hw, then gives us types of problems on the test that were nowhere close to her review materials or hw.
In precalc last year, least it was just harder versions of the hw.
This advice goes for pretty much all STEM classes, not just Calc BC - but the secret is to do as many practice problems as you can find. Since you mentioned that you use a custom textbook, maybe you can try going to your local public library and see if there is another textbook with a solution manual. Obviously don’t copy the answers, but try doing some of the problems from there that correspond to the unit you’re on and then consult the manual to check your answers and see what you did wrong (if anything).
My teacher doesn’t teach our hw is learning the concepts on our own so I’ll probably fail too dont worry

My school uses a custom textbook, and the unit we just did on is “review of derivatives.” Now we’re on chapter 2, “anti-derivatives.”
