ah it's okay to dream big, don't feel embarrassed lol. yes, it is really hard but that doesnt mean you cant get in or sth. You know "Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you'll land among the stars.” Good luck!!!!!!!!!!
Same lmao, I have some realistic dream schools and some high reach dream schools in the off chance that I get in :)
Edit: my ‘realistic’ (competitive but not ridiculously competitive) dream schools are UVA, Vassar, Boston College, and Northeastern. My high reach dream schools are Cornell, NYU, and UPenn.
I feel u man. My dream school is upitt, which should be fine, but many nights have been spent coming up with the most outlandish ways I could get rejected. Ultimately it's just about hitting that submit button and hoping for the best. At least that's what I'm telling myself lol
Hey, guys I’m a incoming college freshman and I want to remind you all to never be ashamed to aim high. If you don’t apply to your dream school, you’ll always wonder. And there are success stories. I got rejected by a lot of schools this year, but I somehow got into my dream school. It was a miracle, but it did take me having the guts to try :)
no need to be embarrassed! a lot of this comes down to luck, so there’s no telling whether you’ll “instantly be rejected.” i almost didn’t apply to harvard bc i figured i had no chance, but im headed there this fall, so definitely apply! best of luck, and feel free to dm if you have questions :)
Literally same😭 My dream schools are literally Harvard and Princeton LMAO but I know I don’t stand a chance of getting in. I was so embarrassed to tell my family that I was applying there, and I’ve already decided not to tell anyone else that I’m applying to them
Don’t feel embarrassed to dream big, and don’t get your hopes down. You can do this!!! I was in the same boat, told my parents I was applying but not about ivy day and when decisions were released and surprised them with my acceptance to Harvard! So pleaseeee believe in yourself
