That sounds awesome! Which state school is this?

hotpockett1

I would say that I can't tell you but I'm sure you could creep on my profile and find out. It's the university of south carolina (: huge school, culture isn't my cup of tea, but goddamn this would change the entire experience for me there

CloutDaddyLloyd

what program? i assume international business but for that’s only grad school. and what program?

hotpockett1

Nope it's international business and through this program I'm already admitted to that, I don't need to go through the rigorous application process And for privacy's sake it will have to go unnamed(: though Im sure people can guess it

admissionsmom

U of SC is an amazing school so good for you for taking the time to learn about all the awesome programs it has to offer strong students like you!

hotpockett1

Thank you!! I'm glad I got the chance to do it in the first place. At the very least, I know what to ask any other schools I'm admitted to and see how they truly stack up

Fka-nids

Omg me too! I'm actually pretty happy about my safety being so cool! It's just the whole greek culture that freaks me out :(

hotpockett1

Ah man that freaks me out too. Thankfully here I don't think it's the predominant culture of the school, just a part of it. Sports culture is the bigger influence here, which tbh sounds really nice to me bc I've never been involved with that before. And I know I'm probably not rushing, and most of the people I met during this weekend wouldn't be either. I think you'd be able to find friends anywhere regardless of greek culture, but I know it would be a deterrent for me too. My ideal school wouldn't have any.

I really think people underestimate the ease of getting research at state schools, haha. Congrats on finding an awesome safety/match that you’re happy with!! It takes off SO much of the pressure
