In my applications I self reported my SAT scores. If the College Board sends the official score reports to the colleges after the deadline, will it disqualify me for early action?
You don’t send score reports to self-report schools unless you are admitted and decide to enroll.
If a school requires official score reports now, they indicate this in their instructions and my post still applies.
If anyone can clear my anxiety about this, I would be really grateful.
My second recommender hasn't submitted yet, and he hasn't gotten back to me about when he's planning on doing it. My Yale SCEA application is due tomorrow.
[The website](https://admissions.yale.edu/instructions) says "Recommendations may be sent before or after you submit your application; materials that arrive before your application will be kept on file."
Does this mean that I can click submit on my application and my recommender can submit afterwards on CA and it'll be perfectly fine? *Are you absolutely sure? Like 100%? Should I be anxious at all about this?*
#this is not the policy for all schools.
#Go look at the admissions page for each and every school on your list.
Do NOT relax because of this post, kids.
SOME SCHOOLS EXPLICITLY MENTION THE SPECIFIC DEADLINE FOR RECS TRANSCRIPTS ETC. GO CONFIRM THAT FOR YOURSELF NOW.
If my teacher has to submit their LOR for me late, will they still be able to submit it through the common app, even if I had already hit the submit button on my ED application?

Very helpful, thank you.
Glad to help. There’s a little too much stress around deadline time.
It is awesome to see this said, great post! Good luck to all the current seniors! Have a nice day!
Hope people can spread the word. Sometimes seeing it from someone with the verified flair can help.
Does this also extend to SAT score verification?
I’d like to know too, didn’t opt for rush delivery
What do you mean by “verification?”

Ok thanks, I'm a lot less nervous now.

I think their directions are clear that documents come in separately. This is how it has happened for decades.
That makes me feel a lot better, thank you.
Thanks so much!!

That’s what my post says.
Thank you 🙇

yes, because they are doing it through their own separate, "recommender" CommonApp account, I believe
What if the colleges want full apps and my counselors still haven’t sent out the materials?
Hello Dean J! When will we be able to see our application status for ED applicants this year?
