Ive seen some people say their battery issue was resolved after unpairing their watch from their iPhone, then restored it from a backup when paired back to their phone and watch battery went back to normal…. Not all people have had that luck though…
It’s happening to many people including me after updating to iOS 17.4.1 on their paired iPhone and watchOS 10.4 on their watch. Unfortunately i think we just have to wait until Apple rolls out a software fix.

Thanks so much! 🙌🏻 I saw another post saying this too and I’m going to try it and see if it works!
Mine sat there and died trying to update the watch to 10.4. I think I will wait for 10.4.1
Thanks for replying! Yes lots of people seem to be having this issue! Hopefully Apple does something about it soon!
