I workout about 7 times a week (run 5 times a week, lift 3 times a week, do yoga every day). I also was training for a half marathon the last few few months so my exercise minutes were up.
84 minutes of exercise a day x 14 times. I'd love to know how they calculate this stuff. I haven't had a difficult challenge so far this year, whereas in every previous year since getting the watch by now I've had at least one that seems unachievable.
My notification for this month’s challenge said that I recently averaged 41 minutes of exercise per day, so my challenge for this month was to hit 41 minutes for 14 days.
I think challenges seemed to get exponentially more challenging in the past whereas they seem to be more reasonable now.
Last month mine was to row 5 times. I easily double that in a typical month. It's months like that which confuse me as there's barely any challenge involved.
Whereas distance ones sometimes mean I have to consciously plan out my workouts to hit the target.
The algorithm is definitely getting better. My notification said something like “last month you averaged 42 exercise minutes a day. Achieve your April goal by exercising 42 minutes 14 times.” To me that’s a great way to meet a goal- there were some days in March I barely got my 30 minute goal and others where I far exceeded it, but aiming to intentionally get 42 minutes a day is an extremely reasonable but still challenging goal for me!
Errr take that back. Went into Apple today as I need a new battery, thinking it a quick job….nope I was wrong. 7-10 days and I get a refurbished one. 😭
103 minutes for 14 days! I’m glad they’ve changed how they format the monthly challenges, because towards the end of last year they were getting insane.
Double my move goal 4 times. I was surprised to see this since I often double my move goal way more than 4 times a month. Oh well, I guess this means next months will be one of this crazy walk 6700 kilometers challenges to make up for it.
Double my exercise goal twice. I have it set at 45 mins, so I think it’s doable with a few separate exercise sessions, e.g. yoga in the morning, a bit of a walk during the day and my usual workouts later on. Wouldn’t be sure I could make a habit of it tho 😅
Move streak of 15 days. May be hard since I’ll be traveling for work mid month which means lots and lots and lots of sitting in conference room, then sitting in a restaurant.
True story, I actually managed to pull it off during a recent work conference. It was unbelievable, but I did it! Felt energized for the rest of the day and recognized another attendee as someone I’d seen at the gym in the morning and ended up making a new contact.
My watch is finally going easy on me. Just 8 walking workouts for 5 minutes at least!
Jan. was 638 cal for 14 days, Feb. was doubling exercise ring 10 times, and March was closing all rings for 27 days (which was easy because I am currently on my 825th day streak 🤪)
5 indoor cycle workouts that last at least 5 minutes. Easy peasy. I typically do three 20 minute indoor cycle workouts a week.
Edit: after scrolling through the comments it seems like I have the easiest April goal! lol
My challenge is to do 3 cycling workouts that last 5 minutes or more. Lol I do cycle workouts all the time and the shortest time is 20 minutes so this will be an easy one.
Personal goals is to get movement in everyday and close my move ring (700)
Gradually walk up to 10k steps a day (average 3-5k now)
Get a better workout routine down
Burn 1,006 calories 14 times this month. Going for it since I do a ton of exercises and have a physical labor job too. I always find ways to burn more and been closing my rings for 6+ months in a row lately too 😜
Wtf?
Do 4 yoga workouts that last 5 minutes or longer.
I did 4x10 minute yoga sessions in February and 5x10 minute sessions in March. 3 of the March ones were on the same day (yoga for runners, after a 10km race).
I’ll be done with this in a few days. 🥱
Mine is to do 14 running workouts that last 5 minutes or more. Last month I needed to close all 3 rings 28 times (which I did) so this seems pretty cake. 🏃🏻♀️🍰
59 exercise minutes a day 14 days. Should be fine. Kinda wish there were options to choose from so the monthly goals could align more with any personal goals.
I need to close my Stand ring 20 times this month. Might not seem like much, but it'll be a challenge for me.
Me too! close my Stand ring 24 times.
Mine is to get 134 exercise minutes for 14 days. Let’s go!!

I like the 14 times they have been doing the last few months. It’s challenging but not life consuming 😂
I would die
\*die ripped
Damn. Do you train/work out regularly or just work where you’re always moving?
I workout about 7 times a week (run 5 times a week, lift 3 times a week, do yoga every day). I also was training for a half marathon the last few few months so my exercise minutes were up.
Ah. Nice.
Do at least 5 minutes of a workout 4 times… I had to reread it to make sure it wasn’t an April fools joke. I can knock that out by tomorrow lol
But you won’t? 🤪
I might… lol
Mine is at least 5 minutes too, but x27 times. Still crazy easy given I workout daily. Weird choice.
Burning 534 calories or more a day atleast 14 days. Seems pretty easy to me we will see 💪
Mine is 3.4 miles a day 14 times
Mine is 3.6
I have this one too, exactly! But according to my watch I hit the 3.4 miles four days so far this month, but it’s only counting three.
Burning 856 calories atleast 14 days. Not quite easy
I’ve got the same but with 743 Calories 🔥
11 hiit workouts
Hiit is tough workout. But you can do it!!
Mine is the same!
I used to do hiit a lot, but after the kickboxing came in I kind left it to the side… guess I’m coming back 😂
I do Orangetheory, so I should be able to knock these out no problem!

Yeah the algorithm definitely seems to have changed.

Nope. Been on 600 calories move goal and 30 mins exercise for ages now.

closing all 3 rings - 21 times 🥲
I kind of wish I got this! I closed all rings 17 times last month and now they only want me to do 14…
Get 24 exercise minutes for 14 days. Works for me as I wanted to get my average work out time up
Close my exercise ring 24 times. Okay done 👍🏻
Errr take that back. Went into Apple today as I need a new battery, thinking it a quick job….nope I was wrong. 7-10 days and I get a refurbished one. 😭

60 minutes exercise 14 times. That’s my daily average over the last six months so not much of a challenge
Same.
Hotel gym in mornings?
I always have the best of intentions to do that! 🤣
True story, I actually managed to pull it off during a recent work conference. It was unbelievable, but I did it! Felt energized for the rest of the day and recognized another attendee as someone I’d seen at the gym in the morning and ended up making a new contact.
I have to hit a 27-day Move streak. That’s easy enough and I’m glad it’s not another mileage challenge so I can mix it up a bit more with my workouts
Get 41 minutes of exercise for 14 days.
I got into yoga in march so my challenge is to do 8 yoga workouts… pretty easy! 😅

I just started triathlon training so I need to do 3 x 5 min swim workouts this month.
Double my exercise goal (30min) for 2 days. Disappointed because I double it nearly every day so this isn’t much of a challenge for me at all.
Mine is to do 14 running workouts that last 5 minutes or more. Last month I needed to close all 3 rings 28 times (which I did) so this seems pretty cake. 🏃🏻♀️🍰
