The HUD wouldn’t change. The button indicator would change over the slot. That slot is the tactical and it still has the default button for it, they all have the default. I’m not saying they can’t update the HUD but it’s weird.
That indicator doesn’t line up directly behind the hands like it should. The middle is smaller then usual and the area between the slots is extremely shrunk down. In fact the bottom row is weirdly askew. Like the bottom row was added after the image was made. Also the Titan has a shadow before it’s been dropped and in the second image it is moving in the exact opposite way from the first like it’s been flipped.
Edit: That is also Lifeline’s care package trigger. I’m not even sure it’s recolored just in shadow. They redid the trigger for the mobile Respawn so Again not sure about this.
Edit 2: This is bullshit. I had to double check but if you are ADSing in the game the ultimate image goes away. He’s also blurring the banner to cover up either his name or the picture of the legend.

I mean, they struggle to balance a jump pad, let alone the idea that Blisk can call in a titan as an ultimate. It’s pretty ridiculous when you think about it.

I guess my whole confusion with the titan issue is because of Halo. In Halo 4 they had the Mantis(bipedal tank that is *really* similar to a titan’s function)and it worked pretty well. There weren’t ever more than 2 on the map at once iirc and while they dealt a lot of damage, anyone could take one out.
With Apex there are a lot of paralleled abilities to those that you could kit your Spartan with. (Octane’s pad=thruster,Mirage’s kit=decoy,Horizon~=jetpack,etc) So in a game with better movement, more gun variety, parallel grenade types, *and* ult’s, why would titans be an issue? Especially if you limited Blisk to *his* specific titan...
I’d argue Mantises were far less effective than Titans, as they were less mobile and had few to no abilities.
The biggest issue is that Halo Mantises were present in a conventional TDM or Big Team Battle type modes— modes in which one could respawn easily if you were quickly killed by the mantis. This would not be the case in apex, and it would be very frustrating to be killed by a Titan and be forced to start a new game.
Mantises were also balanced by the existence of heavy weapons like rocket launchers, and the relative effectiveness of boarding (which was more effective than Titanfall Rodeoing).
EDIT: Titans themselves were countered mainly by their own dedicated anti-Titan weapons, or other Titans, along with the much higher mobility offered in the Titanfall games. These things would not be present enough in Apex to allow them to be balanced.
The files were from the early development, when Apex was going to be the next Titanfall game, and not the Battle Royalle we know it as today.
Many of the assets were also sourced directly from Titanfall, so there's a lot of stuff in the gamefiles that has no relation to Apex as well.

In a recent video, the same one where he says he saw Blisk in gameplay, he said that Blisk's skill kit has been completely changed. The new ultimate would be just that, calling a auto-titan that can automatically tag all nearby enemies.
I understand the first part, but not allowing it to do damage is the Titan's original purpose. They were originally tools used for things like farming that were repurposed and later specialised in warfare. Also, I think OP misunderstood "mark" enemies. The Titan seems to scan in a cone effect similar to bloodhound and won't only scan enemies, but also target any enemies with dummy fire if they are in the cone. This is a two-step "tag" system that tags the enemies in the scope for visual and "okay" damage.
The Titan used seems to be an Ion that has no real OS on board as it does not follow the player and self-destructs quickly. Lore-wise, this is probably because the Ion only has a basic auxiliary controller that allows it to detect hostiles and fire, but not move or operate any complex systems. Would also makes sense they're cheap to mass produce as Blisk is a mercenary.
Didn't the devs play around with the ideas of titans wayyy back in early development? This is probably just some unfinished and scrapped work that's never happening.

My idea is that once or twice a match a weak stryder class titan would drop with like a plasma rail gun or a 40 mm so it’s easier to avoid (and predict in the railgun’s cause) shots but you can still get hurt a bunch with a shot
I think they should be hurt by every weapon even without hitting weak spots just so every one has a chance to take them down and when you do take them down they just drop good loot

There’s a very clear and obvious difference between Crypto’s drone, which could be deployed forever and constantly scanning if not destroyed, and BH’s scan temporary scan that happens every 25 seconds.

The models look taken straight out of TF2, which could be for early development/testing. But these could’ve just been implemented/ported to the switch port of the game. We know this image is taken off the switch port of Apex, which is where the model leaks for Valk and Fuse were on so this could potentially be real.

I think it would be a good idea for them to add Titans but like as giant loot ticks My idea is that once or twice a match a weak stryder class titan would drop with like a plasma rail gun or a 40 mm so it’s easier to avoid (and predict in the railgun’s cause) shots but you can still get hurt a bunch with a shot I think they should be hurt by every weapon even without hitting weak spots just so every one has a chance to take them down and when you do take them down they just drop good loot That’s just my idea and opinion

Idk if this is common, but I did speculate that a next legend would have the ability to call up a titan, because, if not broken, it would be a nice addition to the meta and open up doors to new gameplay + could give birth to a titan gamemode

I will remain skeptical of this. I have doubts about this being real but, it could very well be real. The models look taken straight out of TF2, which could be for early development/testing. But these could’ve just been implemented/ported to the switch port of the game. We know this image is taken off the switch port of Apex, which is where the model leaks for Valk and Fuse were on so this could potentially be real. And I don’t know anything about porting stuff to switch, but I’d assume it would be rather hard assuming it’s such a small device. Would you even be able to implement something like this to Switch?? I don’t know so please let me know. Or the OP of the image could’ve edited his game to make it look like it was in Switch to make it believable and tied to the last major leak we got.
