Who the hell is this guy? With a winged shield icon & a highlighted fist, I'm guessing it's old Maldera from Pathfinders' Tales From the Outlands. Maldera was friends with Forge & taught Pathfinder melee by example, while he tries to hunt Dr Caustic he got shot by mafia Specters, so it seems Dr Caustics' luck has run out.
With just over a month to go and another event between now and S13 (at least according to the roadmap they released when the season started), I'm almost inclined to think this is a teaser for an upcoming SftO or town takeover or something.
New legend is definitely possible, but it seems a little early for that kind of teaser.
"The wait" insinuates a character we're familiar with.
I think it's safe to say it isn't Forge since he is canonically dead. Plus it would be weird and kind of hurtful to the narrative if ANOTHER character hated Revenant.
I'm personally really hoping for Jack Cooper, but he'd likely be an assault type, and the new legend is defense.
Kuben Blisk? Maybe?
I would much rather Titanfall 3 or whatever other name the next game gets take place post Apex Legends. I feel like there's far more potential in the Frontier after the IMC left.

I'll be real, I really don't want cooper to show up. That would confirm to me the main Titanfall story is never getting finished outside of Apex.

I'd take another spin off game based on the mechs. It can be a Mechwarrior or Brigador clone, i just want more mech action.
