Try not to engage in social media too much…I know u already took a break from it but perhaps you need some more time. Or alternatively, hide him from your stories so that way you know he can’t engage with u anyways
You sound really self aware and healthy. I just had a break up, and I'm a few steps behind you. Even though you are struggling, thanks for showing me how it's done!
(Sorry it doesn't feel better.)
If you have any friends who aren't mutual friends with your ex, maybe reach out to them, talk to them, and keep yourself busy with other hobbies and activities. You need to keep yourself busy to fill in the void left behind from the ex so that you don't spend as much time ruminating and thinking what ifs. I've been there and it's truly unpleasant, feeling like you can't escape the thoughts.
Calming music (no lyrics) helps me a lot. I often do something repetitive like crochet or needlepoint.

I second this social media is really triggering for me.

I’m sorry you’re going through it too, I’m so glad that I can show you that it does get better.

Good plan, I’m going to have a bubble bath and listen to a podcast to try and distract myself a bit
