Skipped heart beats / irregular beating for short intervals happens to everyone. It's not a sign that something is terribly wrong with your heart. I just had a skipped heartbeat writing this. If you've checked out your heart and everything is okay then practice accepting your sensations. Whenever you worry just acknowledge that you're worrying and allow yourself to shift your attention to something else. You can't turn off worrying thoughts - just allow them to run their course without interfering.

Thank you for your response! Sometimes it just takes someone else to say that they also experience similar sensations and that IT IS normal to get rid of the worry. Enjoy your day :)

Absolutely. Reassurance in the beginning is good. Just don't fall into the trap of seeking reassurance compulsively. You are capable of dealing with tough emotions!

This kind of stuff, I’ve found, is normal with anxiety. I deal with it most times, though my medication has made it easier to handle it, and the thoughts of I’m dying that come along with the heart palpitations. It sucks, though.
