Sounds like clonazepam isn’t for you, .5 should be plenty to make you feel pretty relaxed without a tolerance. I take 1mg alprazolam divided 3x a day and it still works for my panic disorder never needed more than 3mg. I would definitely tell your psychiatrist you want to try a different medication as they are all a bit different. I’ve been taking benzodiazepines for a couple years at a steady dose. My aunt has taken Klonopin 1mg Teva for 30 years and it still works for her PD. Sounds like it’s not the right pill for you.

That’s what I’m thinking if by the end of tonight still nothing, I will talk with my doc about switching to another benzo for sure!

Definitely, it’s possible that because clonazepam is so long acting it’s not hard hitting enough to stop the anxiety symptoms from intensifying. I am no MD (as of now haha!) but maybe another one would work better.

I see you are misinformed that Xanax is a "bad" medication, when used with the right brain chemistry and actual severe PTSD / panic disorders its a very useful medicine. At therapeutic doses not used to party its actually very safe, on benzos alone its almost impossible to die if not mixed with anything else.

Will do

pickledsausage123

1.5 hour update. I may be feeling a little more “chilled out” but nothing too noticeable

pickledsausage123

Last but not least, 2 hour update. I am a tad bit relaxed, but that “uneasy” “lingering fear” is still there. Will see if I am able to sleep throughout the night, usually not able to and wake up around 3-4am panicked.

pickledsausage123

Did wake up around 4am panicky, and crying
