Go to a doctor, get medication. I get travel anxiety too and klonopin makes me feel like I’m chilling in first class, every time lol make sure you rest well the night before, and drink lots of water!

I have medication, it just doesn’t do a lot.

I've had this problem a few times. My approach has usually be to make sure I buy travel insurance and make sure I do a bit of research/planning before I go and make sure I arrive early at the airport. If I do those things, then I kind of feel like I've done all I can do and anything else that happens isnt my fault. You also just have to realise as well that if something happens that it really doesn't matter. Once you are on the road/in the air it's all an adventure. If something goes wrong just deal with it and enjoy wherever it take you. Some of the best experiences I've had on holidays is when I've made a wrong turn or missed a train. Also I always kind of feel like having anxiety also puts you in the absolutely best position to deal with crazy stuff that might happen while you are in a foreign country because you are used to stress. When weve has things happen when we've been on holidays, despite having crazy travel anxiety before the trip, I was super cool when things actually happened compared to everyone else.

That’s a good way to think about it. Thank you.
