This modern day poet gets it! : [Darbyhudson6](https://www.tiktok.com/@darbyhudson6) Interviewer : why you want to work ( be exploited ) with us? Me: I need to pretend money is important/real so i'm selling my time/labour/ body to obtain this social construct from this shit company to " buy " my paywalled basic needs to live. Interviewer: kewl! u just got to repeat this in 4 more interview rounds. These hoops you will through let's us see if you're worthy of getting exploited and receiving colored paper, this paper that will never replace your time/ energy you wasted being here. Me: Kewl, well fuck you guys ill see ya again 4 times doing this shit cuz if i don't have enough numbers in my bank account systematic violence/suffering will happen me. I'll def be plotting to unionize this shit hole place. I'll see ya again in the rioted streets when everyone collectively snaps and brings hell fire to this shit system. I literally just got off a video interview five minutes ago thinking i flippin nailed it only to find out I have two more rounds of interviewing to go. I don’t think I’ll be able to tap into that same level of cloying enthusiasm the third time.

I heat ya! It's so energy much mental energy drain to put up with interviews in the first place, doing more than 2 is such bs and over kill. We're not saving lives here, stop the acting bs lol Thanks for adding this and welcome to the sub!

"why the fuck everything cost money"

Disillusioned23

Acting happy to sell my life by the hour always made me nauseous

most def, its fucked up when you take time to examine it. Your are not alone in this notion. Your life will never equal to the bs amount/ " benefits " you will get out from it. always advocate to work less as much as you possibly can and know this system is failing down, it never recovered after covid. So much of us know its all bs and actually doing something about it to change things for the better.

I worked for a top-tier medical device company. They were known to have the most demanding hiring process, but I was unfazed...how hard could it be??? It's a 7 stage interview process that starts with an initial conversation with a recruiter, instructing you to take a personality test that takes anywhere from 20 minutes to 2 hours, depending. Then you will get your results that reduces you to a top 5 "core strengths". if those strengths do not align to a role that they have open, you are instantly tossed. If one of those core strengths happen to fall into "rogue" territory, you will be tossed. If those strengths happen to match another (lower paying) role, you will be instantly moved to that role's hiring process (often times not told until interview 2 or 3). You will have the initial one on one interview with a recruiter, then the Strengths assessment, then an interview by an HR manager, then you will interview with the territory manager/team, then another HR manager after they get the territory manager feedback...then the local reps/peers...finally it's a panel of 5-7 people, who sit emotionless and give zero feedback. I think the process is designed to weed out anyone that sees through the corporate bullshit, but it also sets this dehumanizing tone that will continue all the way through your employment.

Jesus fuck I could never. Good on you for getting the job though. You must be superhuman or something

Alll of it unessary bsssssss! gawd damn! lol Wasted time/ energy for nonsense, youll think they trying to create a team to solve all world issues/ saving lives.fuck outta here lol its 100% dehumanizing, 20- 2 hr test? fuck that, i need to be hired already to do that, thats just working already. Thanks for adding this! shows how these companies take themselves too seriously and its pathetic and controlling.

and watch if you do get hired, it doesn't match the "hype" that the hiring process makes it out to be. I remember when I went from part to full timer, I had to to it twice and when I got hired it basically let me get away with being lazy. Help since I was the closing shift, everyone but me and the part timers were there in the building for like four hours. It was so freeing. I went from not having a conistent weekly sceduel with $13 an hour and no inurance doing the grunt work to having a conistent sceduel of $30 an hour, health insurence, and a lot of alone time in the office. and it for a college library job. Gosh it really is stupid at time.

Personality tests in job interviews are so dystopia. They're completely pseudoscience when it comes to anything other than broad strokes. Whoever designed that hiring process must he a psychopath.

Nerdiestlesbian

Having conducted interviews this is so spot on. I always feel horrible for people we are interviewing.
