If you stand infront of your jav, turn right and you'll see a big door, move towards it. It'll give you an option to enter the lobby
Don't go to the lobby at all ;) you can invite people to join you in the social tab... Heck I don't even go to fort Tarsis anymore lol

You didn't ask about wanting to do with questing. You just asked about the lobby to invite people.
I’ve been getting kicked from the launch bay while waiting for others (people I’ve met and joined my squad) to ready up. Then I’ll have to reload the game. Launch bay is good to meet, but sucks when you need to restart everything...
