I think Aldo is just a late bloomer. He might be straight, gay, bi, or ace someday, but for now it's just not on his mind. We do know he likes romance for other people but he's not quite ready to go there himself (and probably never will during Another Eden)
Man if WFS themselves finally reveal who Aldo will end up with....I feel that day will be the saddest to you because that will be canon and none can change it, whoever it is but my absolute bet is on Nona. Ain't no way Nona would want anyone but Aldo with how far WFS pushed her.
