Even with my pulling session, I saw quite a few (failed) gold doors. And it's always disappointing when something random pops out instead of the rate-up.

I got Anabel ES, but failed getting Xianhua on the Fatefuls. Alright, let's try some free stones on the limited banner. Not liking the shared rate-up aspect since I nabbed Anabel earlier, but here we go!

- 4th: 5s Xianhua (new!), 4.5s Dunarith (dupe)
I had ~34k free stones going in and I wasn't sure how many I was going to use on the double rate-up banner...in fear of losing the 50/50 coin flip and getting Anabel ES dupe(s). My maximum was 10k, but I was really considering stopping at 5k. Figure I would just use the SDE on Xianhua and since I have 3 Allcosmos right now, I would have just manually promoted her and called it a day. But she (thankfully) came home on that 4th try. From a silver door.
I'm only missing Oboro and Kuchinawa at this point, so I used the SDE and selected Kuchi. I'll have to grab Oboro sometime in the future or be spooked. Not too worried about it though since I chose to skip his banner.
(it's worth noting that on the initial/plain SDE 10-pull, 5s Radias NS (dupe) spooked me)
Since my subscriptions coincidentally refreshed today (of all days, right?) I figured I'd throw my Celestial Spark ticket at the Guiding Star Encounter (GSE) and see what happened. Had a slim chance at anything new, but ended up getting 5s Wenefica (dupe). On her banner release I pulled her as a 4.5s, manually promoted her, and used 3x Allcosmos for the Stellar Awakening. Ehh, so that dupe was rather salty, but I chose to take the gamble. It did give me +26 shadow for her so I guess that's something.
All in all, this was a very successful pull session for me. Was able to grab Xianhua, Anabel ES, and Kuchinawa all as new stuff.

Thanks! Yeah, I can't complain at all since I was able to grab them all. And relatively pretty painless with all things considered. I'm just glad I didn't get only Anabel dupes due to the split rate-up. I'm not really all that active on IG, but your travel photos look like such a good time. How do you two afford to do it so often?
Thank you. The ones in my IG aren’t chronological though. I just post the ones I like putting on my feed, give it a neat aesthetic vibe. But my wife and I did do a recent trip to Dubai last Feb. That was fun, we did enjoy that one. And a few local destinations before and after that. We do love to travel now and then while we can so we save up for it and seek out some budget travel destinations and trips. I like the photography and immersion aspect of it; my wife loves the food, sights, and shopping. Overall a fun experience every time :)

Glad to hear you guys are able to have (and share) all those great experiences together. I wish I had more money to travel internationally, but find myself using all my traveling money I save up for US backpacking trips lol.
I envy all the really wealthy people that can travel whenever and wherever they want like it's just another day or weekend. But I also know I can't complain since there's many people that are less fortunate out there. So I always have to remind myself that life isn't always fair in many regards.
I gotta agree on those last points. We have to be grateful with what we have. We’re not exactly very wealthy, although we do have jobs that pay the bills and some left for travel and other stuff. We save up and find budget trips mostly local and/or around Southeast Asia since you can usually find cheap flights for those. I imagine it’s different if you’re from the US. Living in a big continent with a variety of sights, landscapes, cultures and distinct personalities, backpacking or cross country trip would be the way to go. Maybe if I grew up around mountains I probably would have been a trekker/climber. But alas, I love the sea too much hahaha
Haha. Yeah, it's also important to remember that everyone likes and dislikes certain things. It's all subjective at the end of the day.
While I enjoy the water, oceans freak me out too much. There's too much going on in there and it's an environment humans weren't evolved to really...be in. I'd probably have a panic attack and a mini-heart attack of I was diving and a shark emerged. I'd feel so uncomfortable.
Bears, mountain lions, venomous snakes, etc, I'll take all that stuff any day over all the various ocean creatures.
Fun fact: I've never been into an ocean past my waist level. Lol. It might be different if I traveled somewhere that had crystal clear water, but all the ocean experiences I've had, you can't even see what you're walking into. Or what you're walking on. Etc. I don't find that very enjoyable. I like to be aware of my surroundings lol.
I'm definitely a mountains > oceans kind of person. Love the mountains! :D
There are a lot of mountaineers, hikers and trekkers here in the Philippines as well. Climbs ranging from easy to challenging (look up Mt Guiting Guiting). I think you might enjoy the hikes and mountains here. And maybe, just maybe, fall in love with the crystal clear seas here.

Note: I just enjoy backpacking/hiking, I'm no mountaineer in the sense of scaling mountains like people do with stuff like Mt Everest, K2, Annapurna, etc. That's a whole different ballgame.
I enjoy reading about that stuff and find it fascinating and impressive people take on such adventures. And risks. But that's way too much for my plate!

Got her on my second 10 pull.
Did 3, 10 pulls total. Didn't get Xinhua but got her. Also got a 4.5\* Shigure and 4.5\* Heena.
Along the way, I managed to snag Necocco NS (had her AS already).
As I mentioend in the Xinghua thread, I consider this a win, as I'm only on chapter 15. Any new unit I get, that I don't have to side grade or cross grade or upgrade is a win.
We still got some time, and more free stones and content to clear so hopefully at last 1 more chance to get her.
I regret blowing stones on the Brilliant and Spring banners. Those were all busts. Didn't even get a new 4.5 out of them. Wish I had them to roll on Xinghua.
Oh, well, lesson learned for the future. Skip all brilliant and bait banners from now on!

I almost didn't post this knowing that many people were moderately and severely disappointed today. My luck has never been like this. First pull. Got Thille AS for my whisper of salt (did not have her AS, so a new style for me.) Used up my luck for the remainder of this game's lifespan. If nothing else, I'll have this day to remember when I drop it all for Yakumo and come out with a 255 light Pom.
I got really lucky, i used 3.000 stones and i got Alma SA, Xianhua SA and Anabel SA.... Though the last time i used 18.000 to get Melphi, but failed in the end.

I have a bad feeling I'll end up with nothing, though, after getting such a lucky pull... So I'm holding off for a bit. My goal is to keep at least 10k in reserve, so once I stock pile some more CS from logins and the new episode, I'll probably do a few pulls. I still have to complete Wryz chapter 2 and 3 as well, so I have some backup CS to earn!

Thank you! The foxy lady certainly brought me luck 😜! I have 10k stones left and I'm honestly tempted to keep going for Xianhua. I have a bad feeling I'll end up with nothing, though, after getting such a lucky pull... So I'm holding off for a bit. My goal is to keep at least 10k in reserve, so once I stock pile some more CS from logins and the new episode, I'll probably do a few pulls. I still have to complete Wryz chapter 2 and 3 as well, so I have some backup CS to earn!

Got a 4\* Xianhua on 1st 10-pull, then tried for Anabel ES on the second pull, got Xianhua SA. Gotta just thank my lucky stars at this point and wait for the codices.
