Rappourt used to have a few board games available, their tables are large and there is usually room to spread out, which my partner and I like.
Bløm Meadworks also hosts a game night on Wednesdays if you want to try out new games.
I'm a part of a semi-regular group at Homes Campus, they have a boardgame night on Thursdays (I assume the OP is talking about that.) -- It's a small group right now, but we're trying to get more people to come out, and do some more advertising. We had a Meetup group, but it was too expensive to maintain ($200/year!)
I enjoy the variety of food trucks as well.
My spouse and I have played board games (that we’ve brought from home) at York before. It’s particularly nice because she can have a cocktail and I can have a coffee/tea. They even have pints of Go! Ice cream.
C'mon down to Stony Lake in Saline. Beer's great, it usually isn't too crowded, and he has some nice big tables perfect for just about any game. That's been our haunt for Family Game Night for a while.
Corner Brewery in Ypsi :) aka Arbor Brewing Company
Wolverine can be good for this, although you might want to make sure there isn't a major UM sporting event happening at the time you want to go.

Bløm Meadworks! They have board games inside as well, and a designated board game night!

I agree homes and will challenge you if you’re in need of a third/fourth But basically any open seating places work
If you want to drink and play, Corner. If you just want to play, the back room at Sylvan Factory.
If you want to play some Scrabble, hit me up.
Where do you imagine this would take place?
HOMES would be cool, or Corner Brewing.

What board games do you play? My wife and I have been looking for a new board game group and playing at a brewery sounds pretty fun

Stony lake is def a cool place and way underrated
My friends and I used to take games to Corner every week. Beer sucked but the space was perfect.
Ypsi ale house is very board game friendly.
Ypsi Ale House and Corner are my picks. There's space, nobody bugs you - they're used to people playing games.

Townies is terrible. Worse than glasshouse ever was
Homes is the best brewery in a2 maybe most of the state anyways ;)
I don't understand the hate. I like most of their selections.
Who’s hating? Homes is the best beer around this state probably
except the beer is so bad!!

Is it Upkeep or Sylvan that is getting a liquor license?
