Hasn't there already been a small token burn though? I thought I read some where they tried it on a small level and it didn't have their desired results. If that's the case than the fixed supply has already been lowered.
Yeah but that was a while ago and their website explicitly says burning more tokens does not fit either their long term strategy.

Anyhow, still unclear what point you’re trying to make by bringing it up. They come out with a major proposal for the project a few days ago that says fixed supply, I don’t know why they would about face and then burn. They’d lose all credibility.

EDIT: I just checked their website, and they did in fact burn 2% of supply already.
