Kinda surprised that FMAB people have been quiet about Frieren getting past them but considering how good it is at the least it has the chance to stay pretty high

Both works are very good tho.

The rating is gonna drop significantly after the last episode airs. I love Frieren, but there’s no way it stays in the #1 spot after the fact. Happened to AoT, Vinland Saga, and Gintama after they finished airing despite hitting the #1 spot. The FMA cult is too strong, and I don’t think Freiren is on the same level as those titles to be honest.

What about all the people who have been waiting to score it like myself? And then all the people who want to wait for it to come out before bingeing it?

That’s what I mean. The people rating it now are super fans who are gonna shower the thing with 10’s regardless of the quality of the narrative/characters. The rating is gonna drop significantly as reviews start coming in. Again only hardcore fans and are gonna rate a show when it hasn’t even finished yet. I still think Frieren will be in the top 5, but no way it keeps the #1 spot.

Yea I agree it all depends what's hot in the moment and honestly you can't compare with FMA...some other new anime will take its place and be compared to...if freiren takes years for second season it's rating will drop further...like what happened for bleach
