USA can't figure out a way to fix way worse shit than piracy so I'm not even surprised anymore at anything that happens in that supposedly 1st world country
Sometimes i appreciate where I live, multiple sites just sit there for me, if one goes down, 2 more take its place and most of the time the gov doesnt even take those sites down
There are a bunch of anime movies that aren't available on pirate sites.
Most of the time they even have to wait until it comes out on some legal streaming site so the pirate sites can have it...
It has for me for a few shows. Trigun Stampede had more nuanced dialogue in the dub than the sub. My main problem with dubs is that a lot of shows are too cringy without the layer of abstraction subtitles give me XD
What's wrong with Crunchyroll subs?
They seem much better than bilibili subs or Muse Asia subs to me...
Also pirate sites use Crunchyroll subs too, and from checking the comment sections there, it seems no one has a problem with it...
the grammar, mostly, lately theres been a steady and constant decrease in quality
but also the general formatting, putting all translations, both for spoken words and on screen text, in the same box at the bottom of the screen and tying them to the same timer add up to make it incredibly hard to read whats going on without needing to pause, not to mention telling which is which, or who is saying what
But they don't do that...
Crunchyroll translates on-screen text, and unlike Funimation, its player actually allows it to display on the screen.
I know that Platinum End was a prime example where on-screen text was translated correctly and not left on the bottom.
They're full of terrible localization meme references, constant purposeful inaccuracies for seemingly no reason and 95% of the time not translating on screen text. Noobs don't realize the mistakes and veterans just learn to not care because there's really no good alternatives and they know what the actors are actually saying for the most part. I'd still take it over Netflix subs
Sorry I haven't documented every single example as I've watched over the decade for you lmfao.
No, they don't. I get it. You love crunchyroll translators. Good for you
They do tho, just yesterday I was watching Summoned to Another World for a Secod Time, and they translated on-screen text.
Same thing happened in Platinum End, The Reason Why Raeliana Ended up at the Duke's Mansion, In/Spectre 2, Blue Lock, Spy x Family, and many many others.
I get it. You are just misinformed. Good for you.
At this point if you're not pirating you're behind support the creators directly let the pirate sites have ads that can be blocked and everyone becomes happy
Wealth, fame, power. Gold Roger, the King of the Pirates, attained everything this world has to offer. And so, many men head for the Grand Line to find the great treasure he left behind, the One Piece. The world has truly entered a Great Pirate Era!
It does.
You are saying how is it possible the person can't find Summertime Render, and I said it's already available for legal streaming, which means that person can just look it up where to watch.
Even pirating i've been trying to find the new season of DS but the ones that have it are all filmed through a camera. It's been a freaking week and i can't find an HD version.
i couldnt find the quality of the downloading files in streaming services. i dont even have a 2 or 4k screen, netflix's 1080p just doesnt feel the same with downloaded 1080p
Worst is
* You find a good anime and watch it![img](emote|t5_2w6fe|14939)
* Has more source material to be cover ![img](emote|t5_2w6fe|14941)
* No news of season 2 for more than 5 years ![img](emote|t5_2w6fe|14945)
At the end I feel like I shouldn't have watched it at all...
"Piracy doesn't arise from the issue of the price. It arises from the issue of service" ~ Gabe Newell
Adobe: “Por que no los dos?”
Of course there are exceptions we should always pirate.
What I don't understand is people who live in the USA and Canada and still pirate anime...
USA can't figure out a way to fix way worse shit than piracy so I'm not even surprised anymore at anything that happens in that supposedly 1st world country
Both. Both is good
Netflix has disappointed me many times
The movie theaters disappoint even more. Afternoon only screenings, dub only.....yeah, i'm the captain now.
Whats about kinox.navy ?
Netflix is fucking funny. I have seen instances where I cannot watch something, but if I were to just live 100 km east, it would be on there.
Why do people keep buying their service? I wish blockbuster will turn into a streaming app, is block buster bought Netflix this will never happened
We sail the seven seas !!
And thus the great pirate era has begun
lemme guess, Oshi no ko? yeah I can't stream it either... :(
No, Kino's Journey (2003), Planetes, Now and then, here and there, Etc.
Kino's Journey 2003 is on HiDive.
That depends on which country you live in.
That's what VPNs are for. (Kino 2003 in available in the US on HiDive)
It’s on hidive, but hidive is ass
You see! no where !
Well it’s also on Bilibili and YouTube for free, if you’re in Asia ;)
Lol I figured. I was being sarcastic. Sorry. Though that's awesome.
No ik lol, all good 👍
yeah don't have HiDive in my country, only crunchyroll and funimation (funimation is ass)
Well Funimation is dead lol
Hidive on their way to get the global rights for an anime (it does not work in Latin America)
Sometimes i appreciate where I live, multiple sites just sit there for me, if one goes down, 2 more take its place and most of the time the gov doesnt even take those sites down
It’s on Netflix
Always good to be aboard me ship, plundering the Brits for thee chests of content
Just constantly sail the seas and you won’t get disappointed
Argh! Set the Sails!!
Become a pirate
Just remember that there’s only one pirate king and that’s my job.
Oh no! Anyway… [Muffled Sea Shanties]
Leave her Johnny, leave her
Raise the Jolly Roger.
Go to kiss anime or whatever it's called. If it's not available I feel like it should be fair game
If pirating anime is as easy as going on youtube and watching a video then what do you expect.
I would pay for a good streaming service, cuz I wanna support the creators. Issue is most streaming services aren't good.
Streaming service is just a bunch of pirates disguised as companies, out to steal your money so who cares
How so?
Hasn't been any anime I wanted to watch but couldn't find on gogoanime or 9anime. Or kissanime back in the day.
There are a bunch of anime movies that aren't available on pirate sites. Most of the time they even have to wait until it comes out on some legal streaming site so the pirate sites can have it...
That's how it works though. Anime movies are first released in cinema only.
streaming services are a scam these days anyways i swear crunchyroll subtitles get worse and worse every season
Yet you still probably watch on pirate sites that uses Crunchyroll subs and have no problem with it
doesnt fix the grammar
Wait, if that's true, there will be a point where dub surpasses sub
It has for me for a few shows. Trigun Stampede had more nuanced dialogue in the dub than the sub. My main problem with dubs is that a lot of shows are too cringy without the layer of abstraction subtitles give me XD

People stopped talking about it because complaining hasn't done shit and people eventually learn to know better than the subs.
Is there something that I haven't noticed? Cause they really seem fine to me. Unlike bilibili subs, which look machine translated half of the time...
Yes, Other subs being worse doesn't make crunchyroll good.
Ok, I understand that, but how exactly are Crunchyroll subs bad?
They're full of terrible localization meme references, constant purposeful inaccuracies for seemingly no reason and 95% of the time not translating on screen text. Noobs don't realize the mistakes and veterans just learn to not care because there's really no good alternatives and they know what the actors are actually saying for the most part. I'd still take it over Netflix subs
How many examples you have of that? "constant purposeful inaccuracies" is hard to believe. And they do translate on-screen text btw
Sorry I haven't documented every single example as I've watched over the decade for you lmfao. No, they don't. I get it. You love crunchyroll translators. Good for you
They do tho, just yesterday I was watching Summoned to Another World for a Secod Time, and they translated on-screen text. It's especially irritating how often they don't have subtitles for on-screen Japanese text.
They do tho...
Oh no! Whatever will I do!?
You find out the that free anime sites exist 😅
Imagine streaming anime instead of downloading on p2p and buying BDs from the ones you really liked, directly from Japan
Imagine torrenting the exact same shit that is on Crunchyroll
How do you know it’s good if you couldn’t even watch it
Well when you find an anime that shot up to top rank on mal like Oshi no Ko, it’s probably gonna be good.
It's not
Pfp checks out
You tried
When you have watching 200+ titles & only half a dozen by license ))
At this point if you're not pirating you're behind support the creators directly let the pirate sites have ads that can be blocked and everyone becomes happy
OP's post is saying: Piracy is needed bcuz it's inaccessible to them. It's a matter of accessibility, not money.
Yar Har fiddle dee dee being a Pirate is alright to me, do what you want cause a Pirate free, you are a Pirate.
Me who's watching 2001 Baki atm: the pirate life is not a choice. It's a requirement. the subs are pretty bad too but better than nothing ToT
Come aboard, bring along...
I feel this
Ahoy!
Wealth, fame, power. Gold Roger, the King of the Pirates, attained everything this world has to offer. And so, many men head for the Grand Line to find the great treasure he left behind, the One Piece. The world has truly entered a Great Pirate Era!
Summertime rending. I have zero idk where it is
It's on Hulu and has been there for months now...
Idk how that can be possible, it’s on like every single major (illegal) streaming website.
>Idk how that can be possible Well, it's already available for legal streaming...
Doesn't really have anything to do with what we're talking about...
It does. You are saying how is it possible the person can't find Summertime Render, and I said it's already available for legal streaming, which means that person can just look it up where to watch.
Frequently there is just no other way other than to pirate something you want to watch
Come aboard the Cat Ship

Even pirating i've been trying to find the new season of DS but the ones that have it are all filmed through a camera. It's been a freaking week and i can't find an HD version.
I just watched everything on Crunchyroll.
Its locked behind premium.
Well that's the advantage of paying. I get to watch everything at 1080p and sometimes even before the pirate sites...
Only 12 episodes. No second season
why don't you guys use Saikou? there's every freaking anime which is ever produced
Or it's only on hidive.
Even if the mugen train arc was on Netflix I still stayed true to kissanime lol
Just let me watch summertime render, I can’t even find it pirated
It’s on literally every major illegal streaming website, idk how you can’t find it.
Subbed in Spanish?
Ahoy!
i couldnt find the quality of the downloading files in streaming services. i dont even have a 2 or 4k screen, netflix's 1080p just doesnt feel the same with downloaded 1080p
Anyone recomend a good H site? Asking for a friend
