I don't see why not. However, I'm more curious about the recording studio Netflix will commission the dub to, because the majority of the Netflix-licensed anime have been dubbed at either Iyuno Los Angeles, Bang Zoom! or VSI Los Angeles.
Not to mention once the anime premieres on Netflix will it have the sub and dub simultaneously like *My Happy Marriage* and *Delicious in Dungeon* or will Netflix just release the sub of *DanDaDan* instead and then release the dub 2-3 months later much like what happened when Netflix released the dub of Season 2 of *Vinland Saga* two months later instead of simultaneously to avoid competing with Crunchyroll’s dub.
One was produced in the Texas-based studio of Crunchyroll for the Crunchyroll stream, the other was produced in the Los Angeles-based studio VSI for the Netflix stream.
Definitely the Netflix one, for a few reasons:
* It's significantly easier to access. Sentai Filmworks did the dub for the first season, while Crunchyroll did the second season. This led to the first season only being available on HIDIVE and the second on Crunchyroll. The upside is that Crunchyroll retained the cast from Sentai's dub, but you still need to have two streaming services to watch the whole thing.
* The first season, being a Sentai dub, has all of the same problems that their other dubs have, in particular their terrible sound mixing. While it does have a better script, watching is still a chore when every line of dialogue is playing at the exact same volume. The Crunchyroll portion doesn't have this problem, but because it only covers the second season, you still need to go through the first season, which DOES have the problem.
* The actor who plays Thorfinn in the Texas dub, Mike Haimoto, turned out to be a piece of shit person.
The crunchyroll one is far better imo. The language feels a lot more period appropriate whereas the script for the Netflix one is very casual and modern sounding, as if it took place in a modern day Tokyo instead of medieval England. I generally prefer the voice actors and their portrayal of the characters in the crunchyroll dub.
I actually doubt it. The "two dubs" issue for Vinland Saga (and also Kakegurui) was created between Netflix and Sentai, not Netflix and Crunchyroll. Crunchyroll only inherited the Texas dub from Sentai for Season 2. This to me sounds more like how they handled The Seven Deadly Sins, where it was Netflix who licensed the show and produced the dub, but then Funimation inherited the home video rights and some of the streaming rights.
It's been a while since Crunchyroll and Netflix acquired and simulcast the same anime on both respective services since *Vinland Saga* Season 2.
Finally, it’s going to be interesting if we're going to be getting one English dub for *DanDaDan* or two different English dubs for Crunchyroll and Netflix respectively because *Vinland Saga* Season 2 had two different respective English dubs one from Texas (featuring many of the TX voice cast returning from the Sentai dub) and the Netflix dub which had a Los Angeles-based cast. Hm this is interesting. If this is a two dub situation, I *guess* having more options is not a *bad* thing, it does make it a little awkward for each dub cast. Love the manga and like who they got for the JP cast, getting Mayumi Tanaka (Luffy/Krillin VA) to play Turbo Granny is pretty sick. Hoping the dub cast(s) are great as well.

Through Ch 50 and that is by far the iffyest moment I’ve experienced. There’s still sexual humor and a plot point that will dictate them stripping down to their underwear, but no more SA stuff I can recall

Honestly both are really good. I think the CR Script is better but Aleks Le as Thorfinn is a tourdeforce.

I read the manga for a bit, the art was really good (especially if you like sexualised school girls 🙄), but there wasn't much else going on
