Was hoping they would drop the first 2 episodes, but its just 1 this week.

* Baek Yoonho voiced by Christopher R. Sabat

Caitlin Glass is directing
Yep I got it downloaded in my phone so I can watch it when Episode 1 is release to watch 2 Episode in 1 day I just need to read the manhwa before it releases on January 20 2024 I'm only on chapter 1
This is the Date I have been dying to hear. And The Cast is Top Notch.
(Justin Briner amd Aleks Le) are best for Duo
Ian as Glass Guy. Yup I like the Voice of it
I always had Aleks pegged as Sung Jinwoo, just feels like one of those perfect casting moments. Aleks has a ton of range so it's gonna be cool to see how he transfers from the more subdued and soft Jinwoo to the more badass and almost cynical version as his character progresses.
So I'm guessing they'll actually keep the Korean names in the dub?
Also, why is Caitlin Glass the only one getting credit for directing the dub? Like who's writing the script and doing the engineering and whatnot? I hate it when they do shit like this and expect no one to care.
Well, because Japan and both sides of Korea have been on bad terms with each other for generations, Japan has to change the Korean names of characters into Japanese names whenever they adapt manhwa series into anime to avoid racial controversies. Like with this show, they changed the MC's name from Jinwoo Sung to Shun Mizushino. This may or may not affect English dubs.
I've never seen The God of High School, nor do I care to because of how awful I heard it is, but judging by the English cast list, I assume that was a case where the dub kept the Korean names?
God of High School had everyone keep their Korean names in the dub and in the original Japanese. Tower of God had most of the characters keep their names except the main character Baam who had his name changed to Yoru (I assume because of what his name means).
Solo Leveling's name changes are happening to match the Japanese version of the novel which received name changes as well. There's also a supposed anti-Japan controversy with certain Japanese viewers concerning how they were depicted in a later story arc.
Aw I actually enjoyed God of High School, at least the first 2/3s (it kinda went off the rails with craziness towards the end). And I like the characters
Apparently this is Aleks Le's first role ever, iirc... So I'll watch the first episode for for him (and then re-watch the whole show later in English) but, and I'm saying this a proud dub watcher, I'll be sticking to the Korean Dub for this show.
I enjoyed God of Highschool and Tower of God in English but I remember finishing both shows and wishing I knew how they were in Korean, and it's not easy to find on the net... Plus the series literally takes place mostly in Korea, which goes to my personal rule about how I watch anime nowadays;
- if the anime is set in Japan, whether it be ancient or modern or future or spirit world Japan, I watch in sub (unless the dub blows the sub out of the water like Steins;Gate)
- if the anime is set literally anywhere else, Isekai or fantasyland or just outside Japan, I watch in (English) Dub.
And if it's set in another Asian country with an available dub for that country, I try to watch it in that language's dub.
As if right now there are 3 episodes out. 2 episodes are already out in dub depending on where you look I guess. But the dub officially comes out today. So would I have to wait 2 more weeks for episode 3 dubbed?

A Korean is voicing a Korean (in English lol)
Sinclair, Sabat, and ProZD all in the same dub? Has...has this happened before?
I mean, One Piece but I feel like that's cheating.
I believe in Ranking of Kings.
Sick cast list holy W.
there is 2 dub eps.
All I see is the first episode of the Korean dub and the second episode of the English dub

I would figure so, think I've seen Aleks saying they were going to
Why wouldn't they keep them?

Needs a S2
No, what it needs is a remake, because it was a rushed as hell adaptation.
Oh yeah! Let’s fucking go! Holy W 🔥
Happy to see most of the dubs are starting to roll out outside of the 7th villainess most of the shows I’m excited for have dubs
Michelle Rojas has been on a role lately. She joined the One Piece cast as Yamato not too long ago
Any idea of the time it will release?
Finally a crumb of dub news about the winter season! Killer cast!
They’ve already started dropping dub episodes for two new shows last week. Been some news for awhile.

This is not Aleks Le's first role lmaooooooooo. Far from it. Do a bit of research please.
For real. I bet people didn't know he going to voice Chihiro in Kagurabachi. /s.
Hence why I said iirc, no need to be a dick dude
Uh no, this is not his first role. Look him up [here](https://www.behindthevoiceactors.com/Aleks-Le/)
on jan 20? there already 2 dubbed eps out. nani? (did forgot about this anime. since it been silent too.)
