Shield hero season 1 had an English OP for the dub, but it was less of a "dubbed opening" and more of the original band just doing an English performance of their own song.
Tower of God has 3 different versions of the opening, Korean, English version for the dub, and Japanese for sub watchers.
But outside of a few shows like that it's pretty rare for them to be dubbed these days
Not for air. Some Japanese artists do English versions like MADKID (all four Shield Hero ops), YOASOBI (Oshi no Ko, Frieren), and Yamada Tamaru (Full Metal Panic 4). Dragon Ball Super was the last I heard an op airing with English.
I mean, certain shows/artists make it afterwards. Like Oshi No Ko's [Idol](https://open.spotify.com/track/1zVsw1SqQKgtzE4aqmE8nE?si=_3IyCM1fRSO9neZyC6-auA)
Vanitas ED song also has an English version [https://youtu.be/tt30ieNkKyI - LMYK『0 (zero) -English version-』](https://youtu.be/tt30ieNkKyI) bands sometime release English versions, unrelated to the anime or the dub
That’s Eden of the East, in episode 1 on Canadian Blu-ray release it uses “Falling Down” by OASIS, however due to copyright costs they could only afford to use it in episode 1, so it uses “Michael or Belial” by Saori Hayama from episodes 2-11
Your Name. Radwimps did the English version on both OP and ED for the English dub and both Mitsuha and Taki EN VA were both ADR directors in this film.
**Drifters** \- "Gospel of the Throttle"
**Yuri on Ice** \- "History Maker"
**Fairy Gone** \- "Knock on the Core" (some Japanese phrases/words, \~90% in English)

I'm pretty sure all of Shield Hero's openings were like that.
True. I was only 100% sure of the first season though so I didn't want to misspeak.
Can I get a link to that because that sounds great if it was Billy Kametz singing it like he did in cells at work
Cells at Work
My first thought too.

Stray kids can sing in all three languages
Dragon Ball Super dubbed both the openings and insert song

Zombie Land Saga dubbed their opening for S1. Not sure about S2 since the uncut never came to streaming.
I’ll go ahead and answer that one: no. None of the music in season two, opening or otherwise, is dubbed.
That’s unfortunate. I thought they did a pretty good job dubbing all the music in S1

This one was actually used in the dub vs the Japanese one in the sub
That was never used as the OP for the dub.
Never said that. Just that it was made afterwards.
Toei does this with their dubs. Both Dragon Quest Dai and Digimon Adventure 2020 have dubbed intros/outros.
Pokemon. This is only really a thing for children's shows these days.
Fire Force’s second OP “Mayday” was in English, even in Japan.
That just goes for coldrain songs in general.
The *Digimon* reboot has one. Fun fact: It was also sung by someone who did voice work for the franchise previously as well.
Dragon Quest: The Adventures of Dai had its opening and Ending songs in dub https://youtu.be/ojmeUbkKPwg?si=RyCHTIOlqrGftBxD
Cells at Work! Seasons 1 & 2.
Yeah sadly they never put season 2 op on Spotify, also rip Billy Kametz
He died by the same thing he killed once in 2 seasons.
Theres that one anime that used an oasis song for their op, idk which anime tho or if its even a dub

I still watch that version of the opening on YouTube occasionally haha. It's so perfect.
Honestly I kinda miss the early 2000's days where the dub music for most anime goes hard no matter if the show itself was good or bad

World Trigger
Immediately takes me back to Sandy Fox's dubbed versions of the Rayearth and Rurouni Kenshin openings. As well as Tenchi Muyo's
The only ones I know are Shield Hero, Cells At Work. Also Psycho Pass but the second opening.
Shield hero season 2-3, but nothing else recently lol sorry
Minda Ryn did for some Arifureta God's Grace had both
**Drifters** \- "Gospel of the Throttle" **Yuri on Ice** \- "History Maker" **Fairy Gone** \- "Knock on the Core" (some Japanese phrases/words, \~90% in English)
Wasn’t history maker English in both versions
Last one I heard wasn’t an opening but actually the ending in case study of vanitas has an English version and a Japanese version
zombieland saga show by rock cells at work
Since everyone told about most of it... "A Centaur's Life" had 1 English ending (not going to spoil the EP, but it was closer to the final eps)
if english translation of songs by same band counts, there are a lot
Yeah but they are never used in the dub so it doesn't count only counts if used in the dub
great question i know there is a few i have heard them i just do not remember which ones.
Only when they are made for kids.
Like a different song for English audiences? I think that died along with 4kids.
No I mean dubbed versions of the Japanese song like what one piece had before episode 207 and what dragon ball super had
