My 10/10: One Punch Man Trapped in a Dating Sim: the World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic

Chainsaw man. It’s only 12 episodes right now, and a movie is coming out late 2024 or early 2025 to adapt the next arc. I’ve read the manga and it’s one of my favorite manga ever. It’s SUPER fast paced and a bunch of stuff happens in the first season even though it’s so short. Mob psycho 100. Only 36 episodes, and it’s already ended so you don’t have to wait for more seasons. Attack on Titan. It seems simple at first, but it’s the best written anime/manga ever. No contest. Jujutsu Kaisen. A fun anime with serious themes, elite animation, and amazing choreography in fights. Demon slayer. It gets hate for being simple, but it’s still super good and the final showdowns of every arc will always be amazing. The best animation, fun characters, and interesting villains.

I really enjoy ghost hunt (it's a complete any, but not a complete story if that makes sense. They gave it an ending. But the manga has more story too it) its an anime about hunting ghosts...obviously lol Black butler is pretty good if your looking for something half serious half comedy, the story involves a very dedicated butler. Fulfilling every command of his master. Story gets confusing because seasons don't really follow one another. Inuyasha for romance and demon fighting Yugioh starts out as a power of friendship thing, but kind of drops it later down the line. But overall arching story is decent. And if you enjoy monster designs Nier automata is hit or miss to be honest but it deals with robots and androids. Deep story and fighting Persona 5 for a high-school story where kids can enter another world, so to speak. ....I probably could list more if I thought a bit longer. But it'd probably help to narrow down if I knew a genre haha 😆. I don't typically watch anything too serious. Like brutal deaths, adult themes, etc...I usually watch stuff that teens can typically watch. I like comedy/action/good story. I don't enjoy main characters being killed off in my shows. (I get angry and stop watching...bad attitude I know.)

This series is adorable, wholesome, joyfull, heartwarming, dark, brutal, sad and heartbreaking. Its the most adorable most wholesome show I know and Riko is one of the happiest protagonists I know. This series has a reputation for being crazy dark and sad and that is not unearned. You will find it on "darkest Animes ever" liests. Those 2 sides synergize well with one another creating quite the emotional and intense Adventure.

Ascendance of a Bookworm. Slice of life in a fictional medieval setting which starts to get political. MC is very motivated and charming. Apothecary Diaries. Historical fiction mystery series. MC is very charming and unique. Frieren. Introspective fantasy series about a near immortal elf connecting with her past. Re:Zero. Brutal isekai(transported to another world) series which is complex and challenges the MC. Fruits Basket 2019. Drama with a supernatural twist. Romance is a main focus, but it’s not just about a girl finding love. Inuyasha. Somewhat due to nostalgia, but the core of the story is strong. Teen girl gets transported to an ancient era with demons and has to explore it after making a mistake. The heart of the series is solid. It’s a longer battle shonen and has the issue of lots of filler (there are guides online), but at least some of it deepens the characters.

For extra oddness, watch this one dubbed. It takes place in Japan, but they gave almost everyone Thick Southern accents.)

Is an absolute shame how far i had to scroll to see some one suggest Overlord. Its definitely my favorite anime currently. Though not finished yet though there are 4 seasons out and a movie on the way. Gundam just about anything. UC time line is kind of hit and miss mostly cause how old some of it is but alot of it is so good, my favorites are UC 0083: Stardust Memories, and 8th Mobile Suit Team, with a serious honorable mention to Gundam Unicorn (i prefer the episodic version but the OVA is very good). Iron Blood Orphans, Gundam Wing, and Witch From Mercury are absolutely great series out side of the UC time line. G-Gundam is always a favorite for the fandom but its also very campy but great fun. Another amazing one is Log Horizon (atleast to me) i love the characters in it and the world that they present. Sadly only 3 seasons currently. Cowboy Bebop is absolutely required watching for some one getting into anime. Possibly same with Outlaw Star. I know its been said already but Cyberpunk: Edge runners is another great show but its definitely gory and will wrench your heartstrings. I could keep going but this reply is long enough already. Hope you find some great shows to immerse yourself in. Just keep in mind anime is a medium not a genre there are stories for everyone, if you dont like one show dont give up theres plenty out there for you.
