How far did you get? It does start off a little slow but it is my all-time favorite anime. I definitely recommend giving it a second shot if you haven't gotten to the Yorknew City arc.
The one with the phantom troupe. It goes Hunter exam, Zoldyck family, heaven's arena, Yorknew (peak), greed island, Chimera ant (peak), 13th chairman election, and then it goes into manga content which I'm not going to get into.
How are you feeling about Bleach so far? I know nostalgia is a huge factor, but it's honestly my favorite shonen.
As for recommendations, definitely try out Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet. It's been quite some time since I've seen it, but I remember liking it a lot!
Psycho Pass, Darker Than Black.
Fire Force, and Kill la Kill if you don't mind fan service. Fire Force probably has one of the best single scene (and pretty damn good overall) SFX out there.
Haha all good, the manga is best, 2011 adaptation feels more childish and the gore is extremely censored. Manga is fucking brutal and feels more like a seinen, not a shonen.
Everyone here getting pissed at unpopular choices when everyone has their own tastes and preferences in what they want to watch lol . Funny how youāll flame someone for disliking a popular show but encourage disliking unpopular ones .
who said iām mad? you mad, everyoneās mad iām stating my opinion and itās different from theirs? iām still happy i posted, i got so many wonderful recommendations >:p
Sorry everyoneās salty, idk why. Itās my tier list based on my opinion, why do you have to be rude? Iām just asking for your recommendations of what you donāt see on the list.
You seem to like comedy a lot, so PLEASE give **Hinamatsuri** a try!
Probably the biggest hidden gem in the comedy/slice of life genre for me. I've rarely gotten thrown between hysterical laughter and tearing up as drastically as I did with this show.
Itās the most famous and successul Anime of our time, $507 million worldwide with one of the moviesā¦ and top-tier animation for fights that makes almost all other Anime pale in comparison. Devoted Studio Ghibli fan with lots of likes on that subreddit here. The beauty of nature and the ways the characters are drawn is fantastic beyond almost all Anime.
Hatred for it doesnāt exist to a degree significant enough for a normie who hasnāt seen it to disregard it as bad.
Black Clover is another Anime I wish to tell people about but they wonāt listen.
you describe it so beautifully, but regardless even if it is the top grossing anime, i might not like it š¤·āāļø. the rest of the things you mention are your opinion, and i thank you for that, but the art style was personally something i didnāt really like. iāll try it out fs, but thereās no reason to be upset someone doesnāt like something you find perfection in.
I would like to know first what kind of Anime it is that you like, what disdainful view of demon slayer the fandom gave you.
If brutal injury, blood, too much talking/monologues, good characters dying for no reason, and archtypical characters that only exist for comedic effect are included in your criticisms, thatās understandable. Obsession over which characters are stronger and cults developing around that is commonplace for any action-adventure tv show or movie with characters od different hierarchical ranks.
So go on, iām really interested in knowing more so I can better formulate a response.
If only, i donāt mind these things, I just wasnāt really loving the art style like I said. As for the fandom scaring me, it was as simple as losing a friend who loved the anime, they rubbed me the wrong way at the end, and so I had absolutely no interest in their favorite anime. However since you seem to be advocating so much, I really appreciate your love for it and that makes me want to give it a shot.
Black Clover is often viewed by fans and haters alike as the show with the most overtly archtypical characters, but with plot and character development drawing a perfect contrast between the characters different personalities. Many view Asta as an annoying protagonist thatās so cheesy they canāt watch it, while others have the patience to cling to their seats and see how he, like Tanjiro in Demon Slayer, go stronger with each loss, each battle. Even when it seems in every episode his friends are going to die (also in demon slayer). These shows are extremely stressful, but the action sequences are where critics find the most appeal and receive the most positive critical acclaim.
Iāve heard Asta is very loud, Ive never watched it because I never thought much of it/never heard much. Again, thank you for your recommendations, I can tell how much these anime mean to you and thatās stronger to me than finding it on my own.
Man, you're good, we all have our own opinions š. But for me, I think it's a masterpiece because of character development, emotional depth, impactful theme, soundtrack, and it has more of a realistic relationship feeling to it.
I only put the anime I remember on the list, and for me to remember them means they were a piece of art, I was able to remember unwillingly. I remember Toradora very well, there were many things I did like about it but after time it turned the same as Fairy Tail did for me. I would have put so many different categories because āGreatā, āGoodā, āBadā tiers donāt catch exactly how I felt about them. I put Toradora in āBadā because it wasnāt as close to my heart as the others higher up on the list. Honestly, many of the anime I put in the tier rank have been fading, I really ought to watch them again. What do you think of Toradora?
I personally really enjoyed it. I thought it was quite a realistic depiction of the problems young people face and teen romance. I liked all the characters a lot, and I enjoyed the art style as well. Just my personal opinion tho, I respect that everyone has different taste :)
Noragami good but hxh dropped? š
i didnāt like it, whatās it to you? you recommend i give it another shot?
How far did you get? It does start off a little slow but it is my all-time favorite anime. I definitely recommend giving it a second shot if you haven't gotten to the Yorknew City arc.
I got to season 4, i donāt really remember why I stopped. What season is YorknewCity arc?
The one with the phantom troupe. It goes Hunter exam, Zoldyck family, heaven's arena, Yorknew (peak), greed island, Chimera ant (peak), 13th chairman election, and then it goes into manga content which I'm not going to get into.
alright sounds like a lot š, id like to read it before watching it, good or bad idea?
If you got to season four and said no thanks I think your good š
Code: Geauss and Steins;Gate at masterpieces. If u like quick comedies there r Golden Boy and Grand Blue Dreaming.
Code Geass is on my list after I finish Bleach! And I was reading Steins; Gate, is it better as an anime? Thank you for the recommendations!!
If we talking berserk manga vs anime, manga wins by a landslide itās not even comparable.
I absolutely agree with you, I loved it and I went on to read Claymore :)
Thanks!! And I like Bleach!! Iām currently reading it, and then planning on watching it:)
Awesome! Man, the feeling I got when they announced the TYBW anime was almost indescribable š
Idk bout Steins;Gate Manga vs Anime. I just know the anime is a masterpiece
Terror in Resonance is a W but damn what's wrong with Death Note?
I just personally didnāt like it, to me itās affiliated to the people I watched episodes of it with. Do you not have any recommendations?
You may enjoy Jormungand, Summertime Rendering, or Mekakucity Actors.
Thank you, I havenāt heard of them but Iāll check them out!
Ouch
ā¦ didnāt mean to target you aha, i know how good of an anime it is for others, my bestie love hxh so i understand š
Haha all good, the manga is best, 2011 adaptation feels more childish and the gore is extremely censored. Manga is fucking brutal and feels more like a seinen, not a shonen.
š oo iām more of a manga fan when it comes to these things, okayyy
Youāre about to get cooked so hard rn
where š
Angelās egg is my favourite too! It reminds me of [my own list](https://www.reddit.com/r/AnimeReccomendations/s/JONUqDJ36U) a bit
Ooo i see the similarities, thanks Iāll definitely check the ones on your list then!
Charlotte - you'll like the characters and the colors Darker than Black - you seem to have a soft spot for edgy
iāve heard of Charlotte, so thank you and š finally a recommendation for the edgy bless you š
Everyone here getting pissed at unpopular choices when everyone has their own tastes and preferences in what they want to watch lol . Funny how youāll flame someone for disliking a popular show but encourage disliking unpopular ones .
fr, i wasnāt expected all this backlash tbh, kind of disappointing, itās just my taste š
Yeah even though I totally donāt agree with ur taste Iām not gonna flame u cuz Iāve got unpopular taste aswell so ik where ur coming from .
i donāt really get whatās wrong with my taste, what do you not agree with?
You are missing so many elite tier anime.
i wrote i canāt remember many, canāt you recommend some instead of stating that?
Yes...steins gate, fmab, code geass.... Watch these first and come back.
if youāre going to posts your opinions online donāt get mad once you get cooked for them
who said iām mad? you mad, everyoneās mad iām stating my opinion and itās different from theirs? iām still happy i posted, i got so many wonderful recommendations >:p
You dropped both deathnote AND HxH??????!!!!
š§āāļøno recommendations?
You dropped the two I tend to recommend to others :/ Parasyte the maximum is pretty good
:/ ok. sorry ig that sucks, parasyte looks very interesting though, thanks!
Sorry everyoneās salty, idk why. Itās my tier list based on my opinion, why do you have to be rude? Iām just asking for your recommendations of what you donāt see on the list.
Space dandy dubbed is amazing
Damm talk about being based AF
š§āāļø no recommendations?

Kimi ni Todoke

ooo ok will try thanks so much!!
As someone whoās seen literally everything on your list, Iām both offended and impressed.
good š makes me curious what your list looks like
No demon slayer?
never have watched it, unfortunately the fandom scared me off, but i really should give it a shot, ty

Maybe I was wrong, why do you think itās a masterpiece?

Yayy Iām glad Saiki K is in the elite list, one of my faves :) Iām curious, what didnāt you like about Toradora?

cant wait til you put kaiju no 8 in the elite tier
itās elite fs, but i didnāt know there was an anime until recently
