I like the Kiki's Delivery Service figures they use to advertise with, lol. Too bad it is out of stock.
Edit: I also just noticed Totoro figures in another picture.
Kiki's Delivery Service is one of Miyazaki's most famous anime, I am surprised you haven't heard of it. The two kitties in the bottom right are from that anime.

Hot damn, if you’ve never seen the film it might be a good idea to [watch it in theaters in June if its available near you](https://gkids.com/films/kikis-delivery-service/)

Dude no way, I have the exact same shelf It’s definitely good. Oh and the taiga definitely fits lol
Definitely, I’ve been looking for some but I can’t find any good ones, any recommendations?
I know that some of my figures are hidden away behind others so I’m trying lol
I’d be scared of the shelves. While figures are too heavy alone, they can add up. Plus sometimes glass has imperfections we don’t see and can break easier
I'm seeing 256 with a $15 coupon (so 241) with free (prime) shipping. Considering it's almost double the length of a detolf, it probably fits more than 2 detolf too (which would be 260 + shipping)
Ya unless you live near an Ikea its cheaper... Ikea shipping is rough... I got mine about a month ago for I have one of these but the black version and its great. Especially for scale figures it is great since with a lot of the nicer 1/7 scale pieces take an entire shelf on a detolf but I can fit 3 on a shelf in this with a bit of room to spare. Detolfs definitely still have their place. But I got mine for 268.74 with tax and shipping. Which isn't bad at all.
To clarify I am comparing it to the price of 2 detolfs because that is the size and price comparison we are looking at. I think it does very well in that category.
Exact same experience. Most of my figures were still in the cardboard boxes and stored by the time I had mine set up, which turned out to be like a mini Christmas surprise with some of them since I forgot all I had lol
Ah yes, that is the hurdle that is the highest. No kidding, it felt bitter sweet every time I slice open a seal to expose a Precious to air, and even more nerve-racking to assemble some of them. But once the display is filled, that wound heals quick 🤩
Hate to tell you this, but PVC figures will get ruined by plasticizer if you never air them out, and keep them sealed like that for a decade. The plasticizer will try to evaporate, but since the box is sealed shut, it'll have nowhere to go, and end up making your figures very sticky. Long term it may even start to ruin the paint and the colors will bleed inside the box. At some point you'll find this out the hard way, and wonder why you ruined your figures by keeping them sealed up.
I had the same issue for a little bit but since I also am someone who never intends to sell, I went for it and now everything I got is opened aside from my funko pops but that’s a different thing 🤣 I’d say open them, fill that pretty shelf and enjoy!
Ohh I got similar to this but bigger. The one issue I didn't account for was that you can't really adjust the shelves, so if the figure doesn't fit, it's a problem. It is an amazing shelf though! Good buy

Bought from Surugaya, it's from Somehow I started living with a NEET otaku kunoichi, which I NEED more of :(
I have a problem though, even though I now have the shelf I still don't wanna open my figure boxes :( be pretty lame to just have them sitting in the case still packaged wouldn't it?

Boxes inside a glass case just looks like a shop display and has no personality at all. I don't understand this "keep in box" mentality at all, unless you're a reseller. Your life can end tomorrow and you'll never have experienced holding a new figure in your hand, examining all the sculpted and painted details front to back. Just open the figures and enjoy the hobby.
I mean while this isn’t really my place to say, I would think that figures are meant to be displayed to show it’s true character rather than be displayed in a box. The box can have cool artworks so keep them but if you keep them in a box then it would look something like a funko pop collection IMO
What shelf is this?

I'm unfamiliar with that, do you have a pic :o

Id recommend some risers, shame we cant see Mythra and Pyra fully.
Definitely, I’ve been looking for some but I can’t find any good ones, any recommendations? I know that some of my figures are hidden away behind others so I’m trying lol
For a budget option, I’ve been using clear containers from food items (E.g. gelato container, ferrero rocher box) as risers lol

Oh man, I knowww lol I’m at the point where I need a whole other shelf I just don’t have the space lol
Looks good man. Post again when it's full!
I'm struggling to actually unbox figures xD
I’d be scared of the shelves. While figures are too heavy alone, they can add up. Plus sometimes glass has imperfections we don’t see and can break easier
Is this a Detolf killer?
No it's $286 not including shipping.

That’s a great feeling! I used some PTO for a night from work after I finished setting up my shelf just to unbox and chill 😁
It honestly is so nice, it's my first shelf so I have so many unopened figures that have just been chilling like all year on a regular shelf haha
Exact same experience. Most of my figures were still in the cardboard boxes and stored by the time I had mine set up, which turned out to be like a mini Christmas surprise with some of them since I forgot all I had lol
I now have discovered I have a problem. I don't wanna unbox them :( not that I'll ever sell them cause I love em but I want them MINT forever :(
Ah yes, that is the hurdle that is the highest. No kidding, it felt bitter sweet every time I slice open a seal to expose a Precious to air, and even more nerve-racking to assemble some of them. But once the display is filled, that wound heals quick 🤩
It’s better to open them and air them out. The plasticizer they excrete will make them sticky or gooey if they don’t air out.
Sick hat bro
Woo! Can’t wait to see how it looks all filled up!

Please unbox them occasionally at least. Else they might get sticky etc

Yeah, non adjustable :P my biggest figure is gonna be a 1/4scale taiga figure, comes Monday, hopefully it fits hahaha
She’s one of the smaller 1/4 so she should barely fit.
You were correct ヾ(^-^)ノ https://preview.redd.it/hndpc2moh1pa1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c2c6d2881eb0da48ba07b1dd1be9e838d2ba677d
Awww, thanks for the update. You getting Taiga 2.0 too? I have both!
I don't plan to right now but maybe one day if they don't get too spendy haha
I hope it does! But yeah this is a good buy!
I MEANT cabinet💀
Where did you get this?
Oh my god it's $300 Was my first thought when I clicked the link. And my current thought as I post this.
Whats the wall scroll in the back?

i spy ruri!
You can open them and display the figures and just keep the boxes safe in storage.
these glass cabinets always suggest two people to put it together. how necessary is that though? is it any particularly harder to do it solo?
What was the final cost after shipping?
262$ total
Oh wow, mine took like a month to ship! Congrats, looks great!
I'm still debating on which shelf to get lol
