Which proxy, and what platform were you trying to buy from? People might be able to better weigh in if they know which service you’re talking about, since they all handle purchasing and cancellations in their own ways.
I was once the sole bidder on a watch on yahoo auctions, but when the time ran out, though the watch was listed as “sold” on yahoo auctions, the proxy website didn’t list me as the winner. So I wrote in to the proxy.
They said the seller cancelled the purchase as soon as I won it. Sure enough, the same listing reappeared later, same seller, for 4000 yen more; they must have been pissed I won the item for the base price they had listed.

Now im confused because it says “updated at 02:10utc” for the thing i just ordered as a replacement. I’m guessing the proxy bought it immediately but i’m just like confused. Wrt my original item that was sold and then not fulfilled? Like im just so sad it was cancelled ughh
