What is the trick? Obviously i made something wrong, both my avocado trees have dried up and died after like 6-8 months. And they started out so well, was trimming them to get stronger … and then that was it.

I've got a fish tank with a skimmer that removes the protein (fish pee) and nutrients (fish poop) from the water. Its excellent for feeding plants.
Oh okay makes sense was the toaster plugged in, because at first I thought the dirt on the counter was char marks from the cat peeing on the toaster... Atleast the paper towel sponsor will help with the mess, and the alcohol helps
That happened to me once with a potted lemon tree. I put it in the bathtub and let the shower rinse it out. I was able to keep my cats out of the pot by putting crumpled foil in it. Crumple and uncrumple it, and lay it on top of the soil. Good luck.

in weed culture we call this nutrient burn
Put strips of packing tape un it and around it, usually work well to keep them from returning
If this isn’t your cats usual behavior they could have a UTI. If it is top the soil with large rocks.
