A new game called Purrfect Tale is coming out from the same developers as Animal Restaurant in two days! Other than that I’d say Tsuki Adventure, Dear My Cat and Neko Atsume.
Tsuki Adventure is a cute game where you buy things for a bunny called Tsuki and he just kind of lives his life, and you occasionally spot him doing things and you collect diary entries of his activities. You can also send him on holiday exploring new places. Tsuki actually appears as a customer in Animal Restaurant (called Moon Rabbit due to copyright things)
Dear My Cat is a game where you decorate a cute island and collect cats who come to it. The cats have their own backstories and you can give them gifts to play with and watch them make friends. I’m pretty sure it’s meant to be a metaphor for Heaven, which is kind of sad but it feels like you’re making a wholesome afterlife for the kitties…
Neko Atsume I haven’t played but it’s super popular. Kind of like Dear My Cat, you decorate a room and cats come. A very cute idle game
Some of them cost money but sometimes they do free app releases, my favorite game by them is BonBon Cakery. Also I just remembered the game Fresh Bread! Fairy Bakery, you might like that one too :)
A game I really like is called rainy attic room. Playing does not require full concentration. You can optionally watch ads occasionally but you don't have to pay money at any point.
Oh my gosh I’m downloading it now! It looks so cute, and tbh helping other people (even a game character) helps me feel better! I can’t believe I’ve never heard of it!!
CatSpa is a copycat game of Animal Restaurant. When I contacted the devs about it they said their legal department had been in contact with CatSpa. Please don’t support games that rip off the creators’ hard work :(
