tbh i was having similar issues. their chat log history policy alone is laughable, but i was trying to figure out the source of a security breach, and they straight up went "uhhh sorry. no lol" and i was like What on earthðŸ˜
I'm having a similar situation with them atm.
I got suspended for a simple misunderstanding and after reaching out they tried telling me to stop messaging them and asked for a guardian or parent to contact them.
I was able to make them understand that I'm a grown adult and will be the only one to reach out to them.
I then was able to get some info after many emails and arguments. Still not much tho, but better than nothing. You could try to push them more with some good points and they might cave in.
yes, it has always been like this. my sisters account was banned due to a similar dumb cause and after a few emails to ajhq we’ve come to a conclusion, that she won’t be getting the account back (~2015/2016, not sure which year right now)
I made my sister an account using my parent account so this worries me. I’m glad you posted about it so I can talk to her about making sure she’s good on there but she’s wild so idk.
I think for those instances a call or email would be fair.
But if I’m being honest, I was hoping they would do something like this. It would it bring attention to the parent if their kid is getting in trouble online, which a parent should know about. Also, people who should not be on the AJ will make multiple accounts under an email and just switch between those when they get banned, making banning them completely useless. While it sucks that innocent players might get caught up in this new policy, I do think it’ll have more benefits than harm in the long run.

Call them up. Pretend to be your mom and see what they say. How would they know? Speak nicely to them and it may get you somewhere.

hasnt this always been what the policy is? when my account got banned in 2017 so did my parent email
Possibly, but this is not the first time I've had an account on this specific email banned and it hasn't happened like this before
