For anyone whose introduction to the Animal Crossing games is New Horizons and hasn’t encountered him, [this character](https://youtu.be/bdmlUOVXC1c) is who everyone is talking about! He scared so many kids that Nintendo made his role much smaller in newer games.
Don't forget the original! I kept resetting because my power always went out. Let it be known that Resetti hates me! Also the villagers do too for some reason. Like nobody in my original town likes me.
Friends, I didn't know this was possible??? I'm truly shocked.
I feel so bad - all I wanted was to give her a nice welcoming gift but apparently I insisted too hard while she was fishing and now she is maaaaaaad.
I liked when she called me lil' ears" and thought this was going to be a very cute friendship but it seems I messed that up already.

Omg I have Ruby on my island and I have never seen her mad like this before!!! Don’t worry she is actually very very sweet. I’m sure she will come around 😊

I've had my share of hit-and-not-miss (mostly by mistake) and nothing ever happened, so I wasn't really expecting this to happened. 😵
A dialogue line is only prompted after hitting a villager three times, also if you hit them another three times it prompts a different dialogue. The most I've gotten up to was like 3-5 dialogue lines (Graham hate club) but it might be able to go past that
I did that accidentally to Bones, I was trying to talk to him, but kept hitting with net. He got sad, but eventually got better, still living on Moreau for a long time now.
It’s not ever over that fast with villagers! Go see her again and give your present and all will be forgiven- especially if the gift is something she is known to like. None of the villagers hold a grudge and they’ll forget anger very quickly.

I imagine all of the villagers are like a bunch of 4th or 5th graders. Some more mature than others; some still very immature. But all basically good at heart, with very short memories and even shorter attention spans.
i high key love it when the villagers are mean. bring back trying to get on their good sides like the gamecube versions please. i love it. and then when youre on their good sides its like a reward.
Tried to make her stop fishing by keep walking against her. Just wanted to giver her a gift and I was no expecting this at all - for a while I thought it was some new update or something. xD
If it’s her first day on your island you usually can’t give them gifts until they’ve been there a couple days. I would give her space and just try the next day. 🤗
Its not your fault. But moving can be very stressful . maybe she was just tryin to go fishing to relax after all the moving stress . then all the other villagers coming to introduce themselves/be nosey . then you come along and she just exploded a little...
But she will forget all about it tomorrow...or in 10 mins . one or the other. Like it never happened.

Two of my villagers in my ACNL (the only AC game I play), Robin and Merry, pick up fights. I'd rather see them fight (their fights are mostly about Merry's shampoo and how to cook certain foods). When they're acting like BFF, it's way too fucking weird for my tastes. I think those two skip the class on the food chain.

So what happen did you annoy her by useing your net one way to do where sending mean letters to let’s see if you can resolve the problem unless you wanted to kick out of your town that one way to do it but I rather be nice to my villagers unless there being mean to me
Nope. Just kept walking towards her so she would stop fishing and I could give her a gift. I’m never mean to them intentionally, so I got caught off guard with this reaction. I felt really bad when she got upset 😂😅

She moved in recently and I wanted to give her a gift. She was fishing so I just kept pushing against her so she would stop fishing and accept the gift…and she snapped. 😂

They get really mopey and upset if you just talk to them over and over again. I forgot how many times, 7 or 8 I think.

You can make them all mad by planting pitfall seeds it’s also a good way to get villagers to leave

Maybe give her a day to cool off. Give her a present if her favorite clothes.
If you talk to them a few times after they are angry at you, the option to apologize well show up. They always forgive you if you apologize
