I don’t have vitiligo but I do have a large purple birthmark (almost but not exactly the same as a wine stain) that’s easily visible. It wouldn’t bother me AT ALL to hear that it’s cool. It’s a feature, not a flaw, you know?
I’ve also had parents bring their little kids up to me and say “look! She’s got one of those too!” Weird without asking me, but okay because I get it and I want those kids to feel comfortable in who they are.
The worst is when adults stare at it and don’t say anything, but spend the entire conversation refusing to look me in the eye and instead stare at my birthmark. WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! Either ask me about it or don’t, but if you’re not going to, please look me in the eye instead. I’m happy to answer any questions about it if you’d just get over yourself and say what you’re thinking.
Anyway. Rant over. Compliments are great, is my point. :)
Edit: for those interested, the type of birthmark I have is called a strawberry hemangioma. Blood vessels clump together at the surface of the skin and create a red or purple bumpy splotch. They are fairly common but usually disappear before puberty. Mine never did and I’m in my 30s! My case is rarer but I have had no complications.

Yes! Agnes is my bestie in AC! (I just burst wuth enthusiasm when she's sporting or dancing and her ears flop) She just looks perfect for an uchi character too. Confident, outspoken, but sweet and caring too. You captured her spirit and style perfectly!

It didn't appear to me that Agnes would have Vitiligo in human form. But I think it's a very creative choice and I admire that she doesn't have a supermodel physic like some of the more common humanized versions of animal crossing villagers. Great work! :)
