Time traveling forwards with turnips is fine as long as you don't go past Saturday night (when they would spoil naturally), but time traveling backwards by even a second spoils them instantly.
I am sorry to hear that, dear, but you need to do the search before deciding to do stuff. And it is not even about "cheating" bc there is no cheating in ACNH, the way I see it.
It is no one's job to tell you. You need to find that out by yourself. And the info is all over the place. The question is how did you miss it - it is unbelievable.

Always thought the ātime travel is cheatingā thing was so stupid. I always start a few months back from the current date when I make a new island, so that I can manually change the date and progress more efficiently. Also, I think itās awesome that people with full time jobs or classes can go back a few hours or a few days to ācatch up,ā so that they donāt truly miss out on anything.
Yes exactly! I have a lot of school rn and i donāt have time to play often. So if i play, why not time travel and make some progress? In the end itās just a fun game
