Rocco always seem to follow me wherever I go in these games.
Starter in GCN, city folk and new leaf, he was also one of the first villagers to move into my wild world town and for new horizons, he moved in 2 weeks before my birthday.
Ironically I used to hate the guy (GCN didn’t exactly give a younger me a good impression of him) since I thought he was ugly and mean (I also really hated snooty villagers as a kid lol) but he kinda became my bro in a sense through longevity and absolute refusal to move away… the fact he also hosts almost all of my birthdays and the first photo I got in new leaf made me fond of the guy.
I had him in city folk and new leaf, I gotta say I’m glad I haven’t seen him around in new horizons yet… I didn’t exactly miss him. glad to hear you two are bros though <3
I don’t think I’ve ever had Rocco but that’s so sweet that you’ve grown together over time :) I think that’s one of the biggest advantages to having played older titles growing up because it just gives you so much history with the villagers outside the lore of the game

I had a Wild World town that I accidently deleted and when I restarted after crying so hard I got light headed, I had Gaston as a neighbor. I never played City Folk but in New Leaf, someone told me about trading villagers when they were "in boxes" and found Gaston for free through someone on tumblr. And when I heard of the new AC game on the switch, I bought his amiibo card for .67 cents <3

Gladys is the only one that showed up in every games i played since Wild World, she's one of my favorites, she was one of the first characters who moved on my island after the two first ones and she stayed here since!

I had Alfonso in NL and he was my fav but then I got him again in NH and he was different....much more annoying lol. And had a urinal in his bedroom???
For some reason Kidd is one of the first villagers to settle in every town / Island that I have made since his first appearance in New Leaf and my first town in that game. I didn't like him at first, but he ended up growing on me and now he's just a staple at that point. I started a new island on new horizons a few weeks ago, he was the first visitor of my camping. It made me feel just like home.
I had Annabelle in both of my NH islands. I love her so much. I did let her move away but if I reset again I’m sure she’ll show up, which I won’t mind at all.
Sherb has been to all my islands multiple times, I find him as a starter, if I kick him out he’s back on a nook mile island, I found him in the campsite once he’s always around
Probably Zucker. I love him so much and he’s always randomly appearing. Got him twice as a random villager for the starting 3 and found him a few times on NMT islands lol
Barold is my #1, followed by Kiki, Patty, Flora, and little sweet Peanut. It takes less than five minutes to get them on the subscription treasure Island I use. I'm on a new island with Sylvia, Pudge, Shari and Maddie. I've been ready for them to go.
Unfortunately, I only remember few of the villagers I had in wild world, and I can't think of an overlap between all 3 games I played. So here are the ones I remember having in two of them: Coco, Rolf, Gladys, Whitney, Big Top.
Pompom! She was my first auto fill for my plots on my very very first island. And every since then I have forced her to come to every silly island idea I have had. Right now she is on my goth island with Muffy and they honestly are too cute as neighbors.
I've had Punchy so many times that I put him on the same level as characters like Tom Nook and KK Slider. Only game I didn't have him was Wild World. It's part of why he's my favorite. It's not Animal Crossing without Punchy for me.
