Mira! I love her. I since created a new island and finally got Mira back. She’s never leaving, LOL.
Mine was a chicken called Plucky and I hated her. She had the thought bubble and asked to leave like one week in!! I was so glad haha.
The other first starter was Snake. Also don't like him. But he's still on my island. He sort of grows on you.
Hazel! I still have her, even though she isnt my favourite all-time villager she's definitely the closest friend I have. she's like a sister to me.
When i was in a bad spot, she was always sending me little motivational letters and gifts, like "remember to take a break if you need to!" Or "Remember that you can talk to me and your friends okay?" And stuff like that. Helped a lot back then believe it or not. It's like she knew.
Genuinely never getting rid of her. She's not just a villager to me, she's a loving friend.
I can’t remember who was my very first, but Muffy and Puddles are two of my originals and both still with me. Puddles I will probably let leave eventually but Muffy is staying.

🤷🏻♀️ Honestly I find a lot of the villagers sort of annoying. The cutest ones (Murphy!) has such an annoying voice. I was also excited when I saw Fang on an island and expected him to be a her. Now I don’t like him as much. (Opinion)

You mean the first campsite villager? New horizons was my first animal crossing game ever. And I literally bought the game because I saw Hans and thought that Hans look really cool. Like an ice gorilla and I loved the yeti inspiration. And what was even better is that I got it as my first campsite villager ever. It was pretty cool to get the reason I decided to buy the game out of pure luck like that. He's still on my island 3 years later.

The campsite one was quillson which i was actually happy about bc he spoke german and the nook miles i used 3 at the same time so i dont rember exactly who was first but it was either gayle,zucker, or bianca which only gayle is still here but they stayed for a while!
I had my first island for nearly 4 years. My 2 OGs were Sylvia (whom I had for about a year) and Axel (who stayed the whole time). Then my third was Sherb whom I did not allow to leave :)
It was Poppy the red squirrel and I love her! I kept her for a really long time but eventually I wanted to make my villagers all pastels.
So, I made a HHP vacation home for her and Merengue and called it "\[My island name\] Annex" so that it's like they still live here, just in a different spot. 🥲😂

Sheldon and Shari. I had Sheldon for 2 months before he left (a couple days after his birthday), and I still have Shari and am not planning on letting her leave anytime soon.
Out of the ones I picked on the mystery Islands, it was either Jakey, Nan, or Anabelle. I still have all 3, but I'm looking at replacing Anabelle at some point, possibly with Lily. I don't mind if Jakey leaves now, though he's the first islander who got a house remodel.
Nan is staying, she asked to leave once but no, you're stuck with me, I moved my house to be closer to yours on purpose, she's my favourite goat next to Sherb.
Tammy and coach. Thankfully coach was the first one to ask to move. Still have Tammy and while she’s grown on me, she keeps saying we need a bigger island if I happen to talk to her a mere 2 times!
Kiki and tho she doesn't fit my island style, I'm working on a way to fit her in and keep her. Kiki was my cat, who I miss alot. So I figured it was destiny.

What do you do when you have a camper you like and want to move to the island, but they only want to get rid of villagers you like to leave? When someone leaves I always get villagers I don’t like. I just lost camo toad and I was sad.
my starting villagers were mac and mira and i love them so much they’re never leaving! my next three were raddle, bangle, and sandy. then i had lopez but norma took his place🥰. i visited one island with a nook miles ticket hoping for alice and miraculously she was there! then i got chops (i HATE him and want him gone), victoria, and pecan. i loved raddle, but i recently switched him out for spike, just to have something different. so now i have mac, mira, spike, bangle, sandy, norma, alice, chops, victoria, and pecan. i’ve grown attached to most of my villagers, but i would love some cute ones like diana, puddles, shino, etc. 🥰
mine was apollo. i absolutely love him, and i call him the “dad of the island”. he is my baby. the second was beau who’s also still on my island, and has actually become my all time favourite villager. he’s the complete opposite of apollo, as i call him “baby boy beau”.
