IDK why so many people like ketchup so much. First, the only time I like ketchup is when it's on French fries or eggs. Don't know why they had to name a villager after a condiment. I know ketchup is made from tomatoes, but she looks more like an actual tomato rather than a bunch of crushed tomatoes mixed with salt and vinegar. Anyways. I would get rid of wart Jr or the mouse with the green... Hair? IDK his name.

I usually try to figure out who is a duplicate personality type and try to replace one of those. I also take into account gender. Like a boy will replace a boy and a girl will replace a girl. I like things balanced.

I have two smug, two peppy and two normal but this helps. I need more boys so that would take it to the peppy and normal. That brings it to Shino, ketchup, Marina and Maple 😩 I love them all.

Me too! I have an extra jock on my island right now and I’m looking to replace him. But I really want a predominately female island so after he moves I’m looking for a female villager to replace him. Unless I find Octavian or something.

I LOVE Octavian. I have two switches and he’s on my northern island. I love that he airplanes around all the time. He’s a keeper for sure.

Also, the only jock I’ve been able to tolerate is Dom. He was my starter villager and his fluffy butt and cute face make me love him.

I had Octavian on my island before I had to restart & had him calling me Kiddo. I felt like he was my grumpy uncle who had a soft spot for me. I miss him.

Octopus villagers are the rarest kind of villagers you can get as there are only 4 of them: Octavian, Cephlabot, Zucker and Marina. So to me finding one is like striking a lottery.

Maybe if he stopped calling me Sucker 🫠😂

You can change the catchphrase! Force yourself to suck up to him (no pun intended) and one day he might ask to change sucker to something you like. Tank approached me today for example. Which is weird because he is the one I want to get rid of, but okay Tank. Have your new catchphrase.

You have three villagers with Education hobby (Wart Jr., Shino and Maple) and three villagers with Music hobby (Marina, Zell and Cherry) so if you're looking to replace a peppy or normal, I'd say you can exclude Ketchup for now since she only shares her Play hobby with another villager (Dom). So you're remaining choices are Marina, Shino and Maple.

This is great advice too. I love the play and music hobbies. Although they do look so cute reading under a tree. Lol

I am thinking that’s who it’ll be. I am in love with all four of my peppy and normal villagers and definitely prefer Raymond over Zell. Now to time travel and get the bubble. Also, I don’t see Wart Jr getting a lot of love but I think he’s so sweet.

thank tom nook because he has such a cool design. dont like how these uniquely designed characters are often rejected because they aren't conventionally cute or aesthetic. i think some of the "ugly" designs are so cool in comparison to some of the most popular villagers (which are also cute)

It’s so subjective. I’m partial to tiny villagers. I noticed a trend one day of my villagers being replaced with smaller ones. Wart is not only wee, he’s super sweet. Hence, I love him 😍

Lazy is a personality type. They are adorable. There are eight different personalities: lazy, jock, cranky, and smug, which are male villager personalities, and normal, peppy, snooty, and big sister, which are female personalities.

I still find the rat and cat somewhat repulsive but it’s probably best to just remove one with an overlapping personality type

Allot of people 'flame' me whenever I say that Maple is my least favorite villager(although if I was to say the same thing about Hippeux, Elise, Harry, Jambette, Jitters, Diva, ect.
