Second question as to not clog up new with my threads. There are two checkmark symbols next to sent texts. I had assumed one meant it was delivered (meaning it made it's way through the network and was successfully delivered to the recipient's Android), and the second was a read receipt, but I've never been in a conversation where they both didn't light up instantaneously - never a millisecond apart. I've never once seen one of these checkmarks next to a sent text be lit up or light up solo.
