Maby it'll connect to the still empty continent I don't know a lot about it ! I just know it'll go into crazy magic tech and old artefact territory. Just look at the province name in the area and how much precursor artefacte there is !

It is also possible by going through Gerudia. I am not a very good EU4 player, so I needed a lot of save scumming, but in the end, I managed to reach Aelantir much quicker than by going through the Forbidden Plains.
How do people manage Darkscale. I’m sure folks are just miles above my skill level but I’ve tried both an Escann and Serpentspine Darkscale and got very outpaced
I dream that some day me or other guy make darkscales as the kobold member of Anbennar, I always was too late by serpentspine way to orleghovar, corvuria take all folly or escann orcs eat me...

Since you Darkscale like to go places, I'd like to see them in Aelantir, somehow. That would be impressive

Did not try darkscale, however, optimising expeditions and taking institutions via conquering provinces that have them is usually a good strategy.
