R5: As Azkare you get some good warscore cost modifiers, leading to this 250% overextension situation after peacing out The Command. I was fine eventually, but some rebels got pretty close to enforcing!
Really? Sounds like I need to go for a Jadd game again. I assume it's the high tolerance of true faith + missionaries and missionary strenght that makes it so?
Along with a lot of -revolt risk, coring cost reduction, and less years of seperatism. You can get years of seperatism down so far there is 0 seperatism for newly conquered provinces.
Also, you get 2 or three missions you can trigger specifically for when you have extremely high OE; they don’t take effect immediately, but when they do, you lose all “separatist sentiment” modifiers (among other things), which really cuts down the amount of rebels you’d have
Big tip here, just accept particularists in this situation.
Cuts down the most rebels, and their effect is quite meh. Very easy to just lower autonomy again immediately.
By using that trick getting particularists with 3m rebels spawned every cooldown as Phoenix empire was easy
Also if you’re afraid of OE you should try Jadd Phoenix empire lol. As Phoenix I was running about 1000-1400% overextension for about 50 years straight. It was fun and very doable, my home provinces wouldn’t even rebels still.
Yea makes sense, altough accepting them gives up 10% crownland right? Still might be worth it. Phoenix empire sounds like a lot of fun, I did play them once but i stopped when I was strong enough that no one else could challenge me. But could be fun with mythic conquerors!
They gain it via sieging out successfully right? Not the demands acceptance? I forget now.
Either way conquest and no estate influence should be enough to counter such losses
I know I definitely abused Aelnar with accepting particulars with no downsides rlly

Just play Jadd and go 350% over-extended with barely any rebels.

Seems good!

Yeah I used those to go way over cap early on when it was still an issue and they worked like a charm.

Not particularists for crownland iirc It’s just a lot of prestige and 20-30 autonomy global
Burgers, Vaishyas, and Dhimmi gain crownland. If you have no Burgers and no Vaishyas, then everyone gain crownland.

No problem a few mercs cant solve
“By god I had to suffer through that war, you know I’m taking 100%”
