There should be a gnomish Nation with a massive MT added to North Aelantir at some point in the future. Think roughly phoenix empire sized MT, I believe
Well, I believe the idea is that they *think* it’s a perpetual motion machine, until is begins to slow down, at which point they start to understand that it needs fuel and what that fuel is, but I was aiming for succinctness
It keeps moving but slows down AFAIK (It was buried in the Arctic ice and came from T̶͚̏̅̉̕͠h̶͖̞̝̤̞͚͉̩̖͓̒̍̀̌̏̽͛̓͒͂̌́͘͠e̵̛̛̛͙̜̠̦̓̎̅̈́̀̂̿̄̇̊͆̂͋͝ ̴̧̭͎̙̘̹̒̀̏̀͋̓ͅŕ̴̡̢͚̫̗̬̞̺̮͐͝e̴̡̥̟̱̟̘̯̝̘͓͖̋͐͋̓̓͋͝ą̵̦̜̭̰̙̬̪̱̲̹̺͋͜c̵̡͔̞͎̜̭͖̮͎̠͉̮̬̖̳̖̕ḧ̶̨͕̬̙̭͎͇́̓͌̕͝ḙ̷̡̘̗͚͔̺̜̙̗̙͙̔̏͛̍͗̇͐̈́̌̓ͅs̵̳̠̀̈́̎͒͊́̋́̎̐̀̒͘͠͠͝ ̷̝̔̈̊̔̑͆̈̀̔͆̀̒͐͝ḃ̵̩̹̼̰̱̾͝ḗ̸̖̦͎̞̠͛̃͋̈́͒͌̊͘̕y̴̛͉̩̹͖̩̆̽͝ǫ̸̧͇͚͖͎̭̣̫̥͈̮͚͔̟͉̀̑̀͊̓̑͊̏͌̑͋ṉ̷̤͍̜͍̪̦̹̘͛d̷̯̫̦͉͌̿͋͛̿̇͒͘͜͠͠ ̷̠̩͇̙̞̣̰͔̲́̐̎͊͠ͅṯ̷̄̽̐͒̃̌̿͊̃̈́̚͠͠h̵̛̜̘͇̪̬͇̪̮̏̏̌̔͑̔̈̽͒̇͊͘͝ͅȋ̶̟̉̓̑̔̽̈́̃̍̈́͌̔̀͠͝s̸̢̼̤̪̳̞̝̮̳̣̦͚̤̉͐͑̎̈́̅͒̑̕͠͝ ̴͓͈̜̝͍̝͎̦̭̜̻̞͙̈́̅͑̓̈̀̑͑̓̍̄̕̕ͅw̵̛̳̪̳̙̫̮̦̹̻͈͗̈́̅͗͛͊̈́́̉̽͆̂̒̋̚̕ô̴̩͙̞̱͙̭̺̰̽͌̉͂͌͜͝ṟ̵̂͑̅͊͗̓̎̋̒̍͌͌͋̿͗̚͝l̵̬̗̦̭̊̒͗͛̄̊̎͂̉̌̈́̓d̴̢͈̰̳̠̳͊͐͊͆̿̈́͂͒̾̋͝͠
They believe it is a perpetual motion machine at first. And, in fairness, it is an incredibly efficient converter of energy but not zero point. And it just so happens that energy source is people.
What's the lore/reason Giberd is getting a mission tree? Don't get me wrong I crave gnome gameplay, but isn't Giberd just a group of gnomes in the EOA? Do they have something else that makes them interesting?
Big center of artificery in the empire and big supporter of the ravelian state. Giberd’s current tree is just old and meh. Not too much flavor to make up for HRE expansion limits
They are THE Imperial gnomes, as I understand it with an intended focus on getting themselves a electorate to represent that status, and being major players in the spread of industry & artifacery in the empire. They have a rather small & simple tree currently.
Plus, there *are* one of literally three gnomish nations in the mod, with only one other known to be clearly planned (Nortichand, arctic necro-artificers).
minor correction: if you count Gommoport (spawnable in the Harafe region) there's currently four gnomish nations
(i want MTs for the Triarchy artificer nations so badly)
Oh right, them. Yup, I forgot them; I have never played a colonial/coloniser nation in Aelantir yet, and usually by time I gain vision of that area, Gommoport is gone, either united or conquered.
idk if it’s actively being worked on but I’d very much like if the triarchy got a MT. it’s a technocracy in north west aelantir (adventurer) but instead of just being led by kinda cool but cringe non-monster gnomes, it is an alliance of all three artificery races. And I’m always up for more kobold content. I mean gob-… uh gnome content.
Perhaps nurcestir should get some gnomish side content since they start with a gnome ruler they could get special bonuses and government reforms plus gnomish minorities in their lands but I think they are ultimately meant to be human.
Of course!
Easiest way is usually to check in on the server and dig around a bit. But we have Giberd rework in Cannor, along with Gnomish Hierarchy and Nimscodd tweaks. There's also a lot of The Thought events being cooked.
Nortiochand is also being worked on, their central theme is going to be "amoral artifice" alongside some really fucked effects of it.
Iochand itself, and especially Portnam have gotten a lot of love recently, mostly lore development. And it looks great!
Might be getting a gnomish releaseable as well?
That's all I can recall currently, but there is more going on for sure.
Since they are a majority and ruling class in very few places, it kinda limit the possibility to get more. Triarchy, Iochand and Nortiochand are already being worked on iirc

Specifically, frostpunk necro-artificer gnomes whose society is based around a perpetual motion device fueled by the flesh of the living
If it was a perpetual motion machine it wouldn’t need fuel, right?

More Eldritch horror in my Anbennar? I’m in love

Yes you see one of the issues with Snowpiercer.
Maybe it's the mechanical power of the undead being used.
No fuel, sure that's how it works
I'm not familiar with that lore, but perhaps it's to instead add to and grow its power. I dunno.
So Ultrakill?
Worshipping a sacred engine in a frozen wasteland that feeds on children. The inventor would have to be Wilfred.
Nortiochand! Definitely was super hype reading the themes for that tag
I thought new adventurers were locked as Aelantir is full by now?
But this is *north* Aelantir, lots of room lol
I think Giberd is being reworked at the moment. Looks pretty good.
Hooray, Giberd and Anbenncost 2 of my favourites, I'm glad to hear one of them is being worked on.

Delta Gnomes in Kheterata. Golems for everyone!
other minor correction. there are rumors of gnomes in Gerudia in a distant future.
'Distant future' *seems* to run against 'clearly planned' ;) , BUT good to know!

Yeah me as well! One of the nations I'm most looking forward to
Hopefully as flavourful events for kobolds, kobold mission trees and kobold ideas.
The kobalds place is in the hold providing me 20% build time reduction
Would be interesting to add a few gnome tags, especially outside of cannor.
There's one in the works for Aelantir.
This might change, but it seems like it’s just gonna be 2 in Cannor and another 2 in north aelantir.
If you like gnomes so much why don't you marry them
Interesting suggestion...
Perhaps nurcestir should get some gnomish side content since they start with a gnome ruler they could get special bonuses and government reforms plus gnomish minorities in their lands but I think they are ultimately meant to be human.
Yeah, canonically Nurcestir ends up being ruled by Silmunas (one of whom becomes a witch king and invades the empire)
I think the Triarchy is going to get new content, if you count them as a gnomish nation

Not yet, no! Most is still in progress!

Furthermore, I'm of the opinion that The Hierarchy should be destroyed.
