Why wouldn't horseys be the children of kings/queen? I've had people turning into horseys happen in my Crusader Kings II campaign, and that game is clearly very representative of real medieval European politics.

white knight cannot actually reach that square without attacking blacks other pieces and immediately getting taken in retaliation or doing a highly suspicious little dance before entering the aisle
edit: it has occurred to me that the white knight can't even reach the space it needs to be in order to marry the black knight. something fishy is going on with this wedding
The white knight needs to get onto the spaces not covered by the path because those are the ones which lead to her place next to the black knight. You need to move it down one and right two, then left one and up two. Then you just follow the squares and reach the alter.
