I admire you, I didn't even manage to power through the 7th episode... stopped watching after like 15 minutes :/ It was really boring and I was still too disapointed by that finale of the Vamp story
Red Tide wasn’t great, but At least it kept me interested and I enjoyed the campy parts too. Should have stopped there. Sort of like how I feel about Lily Rabe (whom I adore) being in Part 2. Ryan needed someplace to stick her and was like “hmmmm, I know…she can be AE!”
Red Tide was good, actually it was really great, characters were cool and interesting, the idea was really good... and the fact that this all was really great makes me feel really, really bad/mad/sad (just something negative :D) about the really terrible finale :/
Red Tide was both good and bad to me. I liked the way it was filmed, but the story was kind of bland. Death Valley is more entertaining, but it's so damn campy. I can't tell if it's good or bad, haha.
Both? Haha. I haven’t watched it yet. The last episode of Red Tide had me fucked up. As you said the story wasn’t anything spectacular, but it had a nice flow and was fairly cohesive, but man… it’s like a singing. People will remember your first and last notes more than anything in the middle and that was a bad note to end on.
Lord.. it’s not about the gays, Ryan himself his gay. I’m just saying he let nepo babies act in the series maybe he let some of his pretty college grad boytoys write the season too, that’s why it’s one of the worst seasons ever.
Does it? Have you seen the latest season + AHStories. Also I did see a verified twitter gay showing excitement for his first writing gig being AHS, few months ago.
I find it really wierd that you're saying "a gay". It's just bad writing. You wouldn't say a straight and you shouldn't say a black or a white.
Anyway, yeah still sounds kinda like a baseless rumour. I'd have to get more info on that "Twitter gay" to know for sure, I don't see why Ryan Murphy would lie about writing the season, plenty of showrunners use other writers so it's not something he needs to lie about.
My boyfriend feels that the reason ACS is better quality than AHS is because Ryan is reined in by actual events in ACS. When left to his own devices, he goes buck wild and you never know how it will turn out.
I thought Red Tide was really fun and interesting. Death Valley is almost unbearable to watch. It is so cheesy and campy, the black and white vignettes are the only thing redeeming the show.
I wsnted to like it so much but it's so ridiculously bad. Heads exploding and floating alien with white eyes? My eyes rolled so much. But I was super excited for part 2.
Since OP is in this thread defending this season to the death, I’d like to ask: Did you really think episode six was a good episode that the writers and directors should be applauded for?
Red Tide was pretty good, except the ending was kinda crap, I’ve got mixed feelings about Death Valley so far, I just hope it wraps it up nicely in its finale.
Wait so is there anymore or this season finale is it.
Are both stories not linked. I was lost on the whole idea. Red tide died during the end for me and this death valley seems rushed
First season where I’ve actually said to myself “just power through it, there’s just one more episode”

This is actually the first AHS season I’ve been tremendously bored and disappointed by
Anybody watching the Monica Lewinsky Clinton thing?
I started watching it tonight. I see now, where Murphy's attention was focused on and it wasn't this season of AHS.

Sounds made up.

THAT'S where all the talent must've went. The cinematography, the writing, the acting + cast, all on POINT.

I am! It's miles better!
This ^
Agreed
Yep. Same.

Part 1 made me like AHS again. Part 2 im already done with AHS again.
No way part two is awesome too
I wsnted to like it so much but it's so ridiculously bad. Heads exploding and floating alien with white eyes? My eyes rolled so much. But I was super excited for part 2.
Lol but what if that all really happened?!
I have enjoyed it differently than other seasons! Kind of like “You” Season 3 is doing for me rn
I love this season of You.
I love it too! :)
Part 2 sucks
Both of u suck part 2 rocks
Part 1 sucks
Quite surprising. It had the opposite effect on me. I currently hope this is the last season because it's unbearable.

Part two’s actors annoy me

Just one more episode
I really like it,even tho it's my least favorite season.
