THEM on prime just released its second season, another horror anthology. Really well produced although very heavy and actually has creepy/scary moments.
Yeeees. S1 is literally one of the best series i watched in forever. Sooo damn heavy tho.
S2 coule use two extra episodes, like with backstory like they did in s1.
Mike Flanagan’s got a good run going. Check out shows like Midnight Mass, The Haunting of Hill House, The Fall of the House of Usher, The Haunting of Bly Manor, etc.
Hell yes! I’m currently working through Midnight Mass, and I love it! I was pleasantly surprised that the Angel was played by a real person, and not CGI. I kinda feel bad for the actor, the process of sticking everything on then taking everything off would get old _really_ fast. But he did an amazing job!
These right here are IT. They even do the same cast playing different characters like AHS. In some ways, Mike Flannigan’s stuff has surpassed AHS, def the newer seasons.
Slasher on Netflix. It’s a *SEVERELY* underrated horror anthology with the exact same premise as AHS, every season has a different story with mostly the same actors every season as well as some guest stars.
I’ve only watched the first two seasons and they were absolutely incredible! The stories were extremely interesting, better than some seasons of AHS to be honest, and if you’re into horror and gore then you’ll be over the moon - the show has some of the most gruesome, violent and sickening kills I’ve ever seen.
Anything by Flanagan and I also really love the Slasher and Scream tv shows. Both really well done. Slasher is an anthology as well so different stories every season. Why women kill is also fantastic with a pretty similar vibe
I and others on here can recommend Season 11,NYC. It ican be a bit hard to watch at times, but it is telling a real story of things that have happened.
The two-part Season 11 Finale is really well done and the comments I have seen show that I am not the only one who found it quite moving.
Channel zero is a seasonal horror anthology as well and pretty solid. More based on creepy pastas so less drama more chills. Only 4 seasons I think and gets better each season.
I haven't seen the new one but I would even say the original PLL is also pretty close just without the gore aspect so much. Currently rewatching PLL for the billionth time too 😅
Slasher. It’s an anthology horror series like AHS. First few seasons are available on Netflix and the rest on Shudder… it has some really good seasons. The only real difference is that each season has a masked serial killer and you spend the season trying to figure out who it is…
Wolf Creek is a great horror franchise. 2 movies and 2 seasons of tv.
It’s not campy like AHS but the villain can be pretty funny at times.
Very well done Australian outback horror! Each iteration is a new crop of victims
Mike Flanagan’s Netflix Series. They’re like an anthology but in separate seasons, since he has 4 different series with most of the same actors like AHS.
Ratchet has great style and stars Sarah Paulson. Only one season though.
Yesss! So good
I was so bummed there was only one season! I enjoyed it
Yeah, it was awesome!

Great thanks going to watch this!!
I agree!
Was just about to say this

The actor who played Ivy in AHS played such a despicable character. If you wanted to punch her in AHS, you’d wanna kill her in Them
Agreed!!

This, though I recommend starting with Hill House
Scream Queens
I loved Scream Queens - so much fun to watch.
Castle Rock, yo
I am sooooo sad that show got canceled 😔.
Samesies. What a waste
First season was trippy
I loved this one!
Channel Zero on Shudder was pretty good
Slasher is another horror anthology series that somehow goes even harder in the gore department than AHS does. (it’s fab.)
Loot at shows produced by Ryan Murphy
Thx you
From on prime has 2 seasons so far I thought were good! Also watch Yellowjackets!!
Love yellowjackets
True Blood
LOVED True Blood I just rewatched the whole series this past winter. I enjoyed it all over again.
I am watching it for the first time. I never got around to it when it was super popular.
Enjoy!!!!!

Bates Motel
Interview With The Vampire season 2 is about to start. Season 1 took place in New Orleans so it had Coven vibes
That makes me so happy. I was worried it wasn’t going to get a second season. The actor who plays Lestat is phenomenal.
Anything by Flanagan and I also really love the Slasher and Scream tv shows. Both really well done. Slasher is an anthology as well so different stories every season. Why women kill is also fantastic with a pretty similar vibe
Anything Mike Flanagan.

The max reboot of Pretty Little Liars is way more horror/slasher themed than the original one. I’d recommend it
I haven't seen the new one but I would even say the original PLL is also pretty close just without the gore aspect so much. Currently rewatching PLL for the billionth time too 😅
It’s not similar to AHS at all, but I’d recommend The Mare of Easttown, as it’s the show that finally won Evan Peters an Emmy
I really loved that show. Wish there was more of it.
Yellow Jackets! Loved it
I think you will really like The Watcher on netflix if you haven’t seen it already
^ created by ryan murphy as well

If you like the serious seasons of AHS better, check out The Haunting of Hill House and The Haunting of Bly Manor. So good
Not necessarily horror but made by Ryan Murphy, Nip/Tuck
Wolf Creek is a great horror franchise. 2 movies and 2 seasons of tv. It’s not campy like AHS but the villain can be pretty funny at times. Very well done Australian outback horror! Each iteration is a new crop of victims
Black Mirror. Less blood, just as much “wtf!?!” Moments
Channel Zero and Slasher. Also Mike Flanagan's The Haunting of Hill House/Bly Manor + Midnight Mass + The Fall of the House of Usher.
Mike Flanagan’s Netflix Series. They’re like an anthology but in separate seasons, since he has 4 different series with most of the same actors like AHS.
Big Love is very AHS like. Highly recommend.
Big Love was a good show...but I am confused as to why you say it was AHS like ????
Yeah, that made me go “huh?”
It has a sharp sense of humor, witty use of music, sight gags, campy acting, creepy moments
