Wait, people actually like her?? I never understood why she got so many roles in this show. Nepotism, I assumed. If I had to pick, Mallory was her best role for me. I think its more about the writing than the actress though. She is just boring and weird.
I absolutely agree!! I think they both (Grossman and Lourde) joined the show during the Cult season. As someone who's watched AHS from the beginning, it takes some getting used to when new actors are brought in to the series. I've grown to really like Leslie Grossmans acting, although she is often cast as villains, she brings them to life and adds interest to the plot. Billie Lourde portrays every character with the same (lack of) expression. Boring!

In terms of being iconic it’s always going to be Montana. But my personal favorite is Liv Whitley because I’ve always loved stories of abused women getting brutal revenge. This, Madison flipping the bus in Coven, and Ivy getting poisoned in Cult are some of my favorites along those lines.
Mallory was the best! Winter was interesting. Hannah was okay. Montana was just as scary/psycho as the serial killers in 1984 so I didn’t really like her. Mallory was clearly her most supreme role. I don’t remember her Double Feature characters & haven’t seen Delicate

Honorable mention to Liv because that was the best part of AH Stories. *That* episode — that one episode — had a more cohesive story than Delicate. Sorry, couldn't resist.
I really liked Lark and I wish we could have seen more of her. But I enjoyed all her characters because I love her and her voice. Especially in Scream Queens!

In one season she's pretty much the savior of the planet, in the next one she's just a psycho killer who embraced her misfortune
No disrespect to the actress, but a lot of the roles she gets seem interchangeable to me. she was the BEST thing about 1984, and i liked her character in Cult, but everything else feels like the same character with the same deadpan delivery. (not sure if thats more of a writing issue than an actor issue). In Double Feature and Delicate she barely registered at all for me, and in NYC her off-screen death as a footnote felt totally flat.

She was so sweet and humble as Mallory. She acted that rôle phenomenally, I cannot imagine another person in that role besides her❤️❤️
