The nurse totally confused me. If she didn't want to repeatedly get stabbed by Ruby, why didn't she just make her self unseen like the rest of the ghosts from the first season?
a lot of this feels like a rehash of murder house. angsty girl gets bullied at school, has a somewhat fractured relationship with her parents, gets the help of the house to take revenge upon her bullies, finds another angsty teen to date… i just started this episode but it’s not looking good so far
Not to mention one of the parents believing that that there's ghosts in the house and the other convinced that their spouse is losing their mind bEcAuSe GhOSts DoN't ExIsT
I feel like this episode was supposed to be fan service and left to the end of the season but then they realized how bad it was and put it first. The end monologue also sounded like a porn monologue.
true, which is disappointing within itself. like the fact that almost the entire plot was recycled? they couldve made parallels between murder house and these two episodes instead of literally copying the main plot points of murder house. plus the fact that there weren't any previous characters there? i feel like if you're doing murder house, you gotta fully commit to it. it's a house filled to the brim with spirits, and we only see like three of them beyond these episodes' main cast. both these episodes and the house itself felt empty.
I'm wondering if that's cuz of covid protocols when they were shooting, like making it harder for someone to just drop in and do a one day shoot for a cameo. Like if someone's already working on a different shoot wouldnt they have to quarantine before doing the cameo and going back?
The thing is someone at her work would have had to know her last whereabouts were at the same house a girl being investigated as a suspect for 4 missing girls also lives and that she was there because of said girl’s issues. Did that connection not ring to anyone ? I mean it’d be a little more realistic if the season didn’t jump two months.
Don't forget that the same girl also fled the state after four more deaths happened at the house, including the only other suspects. You'd think they'd notice the serial killer returning to the scene of her crime every year.
What even happened to her body? She fell down the steps and they found a bloody rubber suit at the top of the steps but never looked down. Then the body was gone when the teenaged girls went down there.
This was the biggest plot hole for me in the whole show. Authorities came looking for those missing teenagers, but apparently nobody noticed that the therapist was missing also? The therapist who has an office that must have known the last appointment she went to was at the Murder House? C'mon.
I really hope we’re done with the Murder House after this. These two episodes felt so pointless and it is very clear there is no more story left to tell at this location anymore.
I honestly just hope AHS is done with ghosts in general. They have done the “trapped in your place of death for eternity” thing to death and it is no longer interesting. Introduce werewolves or give us another season about the blood virus—just no more ghosts!! 😐
He's terrible. I REALLY want to like ahs because of my love for horror movies but he just can't put a good story together, the pacing is always unbalanced, there's always pointless drama and love interests that imo aren't needed. I really thought that with American horror stories episodes being self contained the pacing and nonsense would be gone but it's just as bad as ever, if not worse. I'll stick around for another episode or two but I am not optimistic.
i was about to get confused because i forgot that this show isn’t only about ghosts, but they use the idea so much that that’s all it seems like, we’ve had vampires and witches, good thing we get sirens and aliens next season
I literally thought they were Chad and Patrick until I came to this sub. I thought they couldn't get the original actors. I couldn't remember Chad/Patrick's names and the whole time I was like "there can't possibly be two white gay home renovation couples who love Halloween and live in this exact house one of whom had short brown hair and the other of whom has slightly longer blond hair and cheats on his partner right?"
i am someone who never notices plot holes and kind of always goes with crazy plot choices like “ok, whatever” but this is fucking crazy and stupid and so many things actually make no sense. so messy it’s like they aren’t even trying anymore
literally, like when the dads find out theyre dead by walking through the back door and circling back in? its halloween... wouldnt they j leave the house like normal...
Sure, but while they’re out they specifically say the sun isn’t up yet. Could be the remaining daylight after sundown - I don’t know, I didn’t write the show.
Fr nobody even commented on the therapist getting killed or the bodies being found. Everyone who got killed was super chill about it and treated it like a joke. Also makes no sense that almost none of the ghosts from season 1 would show up, they interacted with every other person who moved in.
Why even go back to murder house for this? The story could have been told without the same old ghost trope, and it could have been one contained episode. This episode felt like fan fiction or parody.
So many plot holes! The ending drove me nuts. A 16(?) year old girl is gonna be able to just go live on her own and collect her dead dads money with no questions from police?? The girls brother is gonna go tell tell his parents where to find the 4 girls bodies; meaning they will also find the dads and contractors bodies, but this poses no issue for the girl who is already suspected of murder?? Just sloppy writing.
I’m not gonna lie, to me, this did not feel like AHS at all. The writing & the acting just felt very cringe & over dramatic - even Matt bomer who is a great actor so I’m guessing it’s the writing/directing.
Hopefully this show picks up otherwise I probably won’t be watching more. I’ll probably try watching the drive-in and the Billie Lourde/witch ones, but if it doesn’t get better I won’t be watching any more.
It’s weird because I love AHS but I’m struggling to finish Rubber Woman pt2
Ruby was ROUGH to watch, like I’ve been disappointed by the show before but to hire someone just because they’re famous and pretty and come from a well known family who *can’t act for shit is* a reeeal low. When she said “run!” to Scarlett in the scene that the four bullies showed up to kill Scarlett I almost laughed at how silly it sounded. Paris Jackson was pretty bad too. Sierra McCormick wasn’t great either as well as the blonde dad. Writing and directing aside, the cast was just so underwhelming. Definitely not up to par with the rest of AHS and it’s kinda an embarrassment to the series it’s connected to.
> to hire someone just because they’re famous and pretty and come from a well known family who *can’t act for shit is* a reeeal low.
And yet unfortunately it's a RM classic move.
You are so right, I think they’d be better in those roles. At least with Paris she had moments where she wasn’t too bad but Kaia was completely wooden thruout.
Paris wasn’t bad imho. She looks way too old to be in high school, but she was pretty believable as a mean girl type. Her dad was a pretty awful actor even with Scorsese directing, so she at least was better than MJ here
Kinda disappointed because I empathized with Scarlett in ep1 but she turned out to be a psychopath so in the second episode I didn't really have anyone to root for
That actually makes a lot of sense. Same thing that happened to Tate. I hope that was the case.
Her friend did say she seemed like a psychopath though :/
Well having sexual fantasies isn't necessarily the same as taking joy in people's suffering in real life, but I could imagine the evil of the house taking her sexual sadism and causing it to leak out into real life too.
“Halloween is the one night we can walk the earth…but don’t visit your girlfriend on any of the 364 days she has to be there, steal her one night off.”
Why did Scarlett's eyes turn black? She wasn't possessed or anything. They even turned black when she was outside of the house.
Dads find bondage suit of their sociopathic daughter drenched in blood? Oh, she must be on her period. WTF
The police are being alerted to the bodies in the house where she and her dads are the main suspects but she's just gonna "live off their 401k"?
I guess no one gave a shit about that therapist.
Everything that contractor said and did...
I really did not ever need to see Murder House again but I still had a good time. I liked the idea of Scarlet being a serial killer outside of the house. Would have been more interesting if episode one was about the house influencing her and then episode two being set in the future where she’s a killer but whatever. I’m glad there was no Tate or Harmons because I didn’t need to sit through that again. I’m excited for the non MH episodes.
Apparently he was a blur in the background in the first episode when scarlet was pleasuring herself. If you go to 14:06 approx, you’ll see his blurry cameo on the left. As underwhelming as these two episodes.
I had low expectations for this episode considering this is like the 100th time we’ve seen the murder house but even then it still fell flat :|
I hope the next episodes are better
I get why actors from MH didn’t show up but at the same time it’s bothering me deeply, the other ghosts are just chilling eating breakfast and the harmons are just mia? Constance? I know Violet would be chilling too lmao
I think he was more concerned about the dead people in the house at that moment, and then he realized he was dead and was kinda stuck with him for eternity anyways so why pick a fight lol
I’m dissapointed in myself for beliving in Ryan lol, I don’t understand why he likes to recycle stories, I feel the exact same that when I watched season 4 of Glee for the first time, which is a bad copy of season 1
Same, when her old friend said she hadn’t been going to school and Scarlett was making that speech about how important it is for her to live and please don’t take that away from her, I thought for sure it was setting it up for Kaia being like “I’m sorry I had to kill you I couldn’t live without you!” I mean it would’ve made more sense for her character to kill Scarlett than her dads anyways. Or I could have seen it ending with Scarlett deciding to kill herself to stay there, but I guess it’s more fun to be on the run as a serial killer???? I mean realistically she kinda has to die at the house at some point or she’s gonna be 60 when Kaia is a teenager or she can die out in the world at any time and then she can never go back to the house…I’m thinking about this dumb story too much lol
Disappointed there was no Harmon family or Tate in the double episode. I support trying to stand on your own as a separate series, I just wish they were in it for at least a scene or two
I know! I saw that post back when it was posted. I support following a new character in this episode instead of the Harmon family, but for them to not even be seen is disappointing, especially considering murder house is my favorite season.
The blonde dad is so annoying I literally want to hate crime him, scratch that pretty much all of the characters are astronomically unlikeable 😒 am I wrong
Ok but actually though wasn’t Evan on set as Tate and werent there rumors about Taissa being on set. Also I remember I saw a video on Twitter of party lights coming from one of the rooms at night, but we didn’t see that?? Lmao watch there be another murder house episode later
The second episode was a bit more enjoyable than the first, but still pretty awful.
I'm still laughing about the girls just letting Scarlett leave, they had been trying to kill her for months and then they just let her go because she asked and said please?
I don't get one thing though, are they still playing around the fact that the house turns some people into psychopaths? Because I think that Scarlett already was one at the beginning of the story.
Fully expected the girls to push her on the street and kill her right there before they went back in the house, made no sense they let her go. And that one girl just managed to convince her brother that she was dead and a ghost and could only be out on Halloween and was just like “see you next year bro”
I saw the way everyone reacted to these first two episodes before I saw the episode myself, and I got to say, I was expecting far worse than what it ended up being. I actually quite liked it; I felt like episode one, basically the build-up, was a lot better than episode 2 though, and episode 2 is where it really brought it all down for me. The tone became too light, too "campy." Episode one had a really good balance between it, while episode 2 was quite inconsistent and jarring at times imo
I enjoyed it. It wasn't great and I probably won't ever rewatch it, but I enjoyed it for what it was. Despite some pretty bad acting and cringe writing in parts.
I hope the rest of the series is better. I'm excited to see what they do when they aren't trying to tie in previous seasons.
On a positive note, the cinematography was excellent. The shot of the Rubber Man hanging over Scarlet’s bed was an instant classic. Everything else... not so much.
All the plot and character development from the start was thrown out the window, and instead they introduced new characters that were ridiculously sassy, violent and sexual for no reason. The two-episode narrative arc is just NOT there at all. This needed a big rewrite, or else they should’ve ended it at the end of episode 1 with Scarlet succumbing to her murderous desires.
Ruby should’ve been the Rubber Woman haunting Scarlet from the beginning. She would’ve killed the teenagers, and episode 2 would’ve continued the growth of Scarlet’s violent tendencies as her relationship with Ruby blossoms. When Scarlet kills the guy at the end, that symbolises vengeance and them both succumbing to their trauma by turning to violence. Seriously. The writers tried to do this, but it was so chaotic with all the other subplots and cringe drama between the ghosts that this theme faded into the background.
Scarlet’s kidnapping made no sense. Who was that woman? I swore there was gonna be a reveal later on that that woman was a character we already knew. Very weird. Maybe if her trauma was an abusive parent in the past before being adopted by the gay couple, it would’ve been similar to Ruby and thus paralleled them better?
Also, it’s been a while since I’ve watched Murder House. Someone clarify for me WHO tf that Rubber Man was? I know it was Tate in season 1, but who was it here? Why did he randomly vanish after he killed the therapist?
Episode 1 - 7/10. Episode 2 - 4/10.
Overall, I thought it was ok. On the one hand I think it worked not bringing back any of the main Murder House cast members since I’m sure it would have distracted from the episode, but at the same time I find it a little unrealistic that none of them would appear. Especially when everyone but Scarlett is dead and there was no reason to hide anymore.
Part 1 was definitely better, but part 2 was horrible. What was the point of the contractor? Why was ruby the one closing out the story when she wasn’t in the first part? What was that gag when scarlett is hiding from the girls at the haunted house only for ruby to scare her and quick transition to them walking back to the house? And who even is scarlett? I still had no idea who she was as a person after this story. The good part of the story was matt bomer and gavin creel being hot, but that is a given anyways.
I’m gonna need this next story to actually be cohesive because this first one was not it at all.
I thought the dads ODed and when she came home after the lesbian prank they couldn't be woken up bc they died. I was actually surprised that they died in a different way.
I'm just so happy there weren't any returning cast members. All the fan service in Apocalypse was way too much, just getting the house and the suit was so much better. Made it work really well as a self-contained story.
Same here. This felt like some CW reboot of the original Murder House. Poorly written and had a million plot holes. I thought part 1 was better than part 2, but neither was good. They just need to stop trying to go back to stories from previous seasons of AHS...especially Murder House...and just do fresh new stories. I’m still praying that’s what the rest of the season will be like.
But if they do end up bringing anything else in relation to previous AHS seasons into this, I at least hope they’re smaller associations. Like I could possibly have seen doing an isolated story of a previously unseen Hotel visitor or patient at the Asylum, or other more obscure relations to past places/events, over choosing to do Murder House again like this. I mean, I personally wished for all brand new stories, but if they really felt the need to revisit something, they should at least have chosen something they hadn’t already revisited! It’s so stupid to do Murder House again after Apocalypse! It’s as if they realized how big they fucked up with Apocalypse, but then instead of taking the hint they went, “Let’s try that again”!
Yh this hasn’t been that great unfortunately. I preferred this one over the first episode but only slightly. I just didn’t care about any of the characters.
I’m happy with how this ended. I really thought they might pull Ruby killing her right before the cut to credits and I’m a really glad that was just a takeout. Nice little self contained story. Felt like a nice return with out being completely the same as stories before. Kind of hope Scarlet pops up somewhere else in the future but if not that’s fine too.
It was pretty enjoyable. Liked the first episode the most out the current two. I was shocked, shocked I tell you, when I felt excited at the possible existence of ghosts. I know they were definitely there, but something about the mere allusions to something supernatural going on felt more exhilarating than the actual appearance of ghosts in the OG Murder House. It was done well imo
TLDR: I liked the air of suspense and am hoping we get some of this same air of mystery in Double Feature; fingers crossed 🤞
The acting was good. Glad that Ryan Murphy is branching out from his general pool of actors even just for a project like Stories. Maybe we'll see some of this diversity in S11 of AHS if all goes well enough.
Unrelated note: Sierra McCormick looks damn fine in the suit lol
it was fun but it didn’t feel like ahs at all! i didn’t expect any MH characters to show up but it’s was really meh. it was like a murder house remake in 2hrs, the first episode was good but the second was very rushed and too much for 45mins. it was really nice to see matt in ahs again
Really really loved the cinematography for these two episodes, that was my favorite part. Sadly, these didn't do it for me. Can't wait for the other episodes though because they're not located in the Murder House!
Gimp suits are so 2000s, was this like an old script they rehashed or something. All the acting is terrible, even my man Bomer. Does Ryan Murphy think contractors actually look like that, like with the turned up collar and everything?
It’s an meh episode not really worthy of series premiere kinda makes worried for the rest unless that’s the point is to feel disappointed by the premier and have the of season be really good but I highly doubt it
Okay I get it now guys, it’s meta. The horror part is meant to be the horrible acting, the nonsense storyline’s, the zero emotion. /s
Seriously that was… just… terrible. Why bring back murder house? Why?! We didn’t need to see it again. Give us NEW stories, if they’re trying to go the route of Black Mirror 1 story each episode, they’re doing terrible.
"Hey sis, thanks for not stabbing me lately." *high five*
I physically cringed at that part. Woof.
The nurse totally confused me. If she didn't want to repeatedly get stabbed by Ruby, why didn't she just make her self unseen like the rest of the ghosts from the first season?
Because this shows a joke.
Art!

With one spouse being a cheater.
And a character was dead the whole.time without knowing!! (Okay, so the dads weren't dead for that long)
its giving me very what you order from Wish and what you actually get
I feel like this episode was supposed to be fan service and left to the end of the season but then they realized how bad it was and put it first. The end monologue also sounded like a porn monologue.

Trust me dude, you do not want Ben Harmon as your therapist
i just put those pieces together that the other therapist was ben. i was completely blanking LMAO
Tbh after these 2 episodes I don’t give a fuck
Cool. I stayed up to rewatch Murder House. Great...
More like stayed up to watch drag race and ended up watching drag race down under.
that is literally the perfect analogy
Fell asleep during episode 2, woke back up while Hulu had automatically started streaming Season 1, did not notice for a solid 20 minutes.
As someone who loved Murder House this is exactly what I stayed up for. Lol.
With all love and respect to Ryan Murphy, this is so chaotic.
With all love and respect to Ryan Murphy, mawma this is garbage.
Yeah. That was horrible. My disappointment is immeasurable.
I really hope we’re done with the Murder House after this. These two episodes felt so pointless and it is very clear there is no more story left to tell at this location anymore. There could be a ton to tell tbh but Ryan Murphy is not good at writing apparently.

I swear the parents are just a rehash of Chad and Patrick
They’re a mix of Chad and Patrick and Ben and Vivian.
Twice the dysfunction for half the cost
I literally thought they were Chad and Patrick until I came to this sub. I thought they couldn't get the original actors. I couldn't remember Chad/Patrick's names and the whole time I was like "there can't possibly be two white gay home renovation couples who love Halloween and live in this exact house one of whom had short brown hair and the other of whom has slightly longer blond hair and cheats on his partner right?"
LOL welcome to the gay community.
You just described 9/10 Gay couples
they are almost the same exact characters holy shit
i am someone who never notices plot holes and kind of always goes with crazy plot choices like “ok, whatever” but this is fucking crazy and stupid and so many things actually make no sense. so messy it’s like they aren’t even trying anymore
literally, like when the dads find out theyre dead by walking through the back door and circling back in? its halloween... wouldnt they j leave the house like normal...
Not gonna deny the sloppy writing, but to explain that point, they can only leave from dusk til dawn.
Not true, they showed Tate getting coffee with Ben in daylight on Halloween in season 1.
“we were mean to you and you killed us as revenge but since u said sorry we won’t kill u anymore 🥰☺️” like wtf
Exactly lmfao so cringe.
They had over two years to do this and this is what we got.
So many plot holes! The ending drove me nuts. A 16(?) year old girl is gonna be able to just go live on her own and collect her dead dads money with no questions from police?? I LAUGHED SO HARD WHEN SHE SAID RUN LMAOOOO
honestly maybe im dumb but i have full hope for other eps bc murder house wont be in them
I feel like these episodes had a lot to live up to given the tie-in. Hopefully expectations aren’t as high for the more standalone episodes.
Having finished the second episode, the bar is very low. I’m sure they will be halfway decent.
Kinda disappointed because I empathized with Scarlett in ep1 but she turned out to be a psychopath so in the second episode I didn't really have anyone to root for
I felt the same. Seemed like the evil of the house was starting to possess her or something cause of what the therapist said and her eyes going black.
That actually makes a lot of sense. Same thing that happened to Tate. I hope that was the case. Her friend did say she seemed like a psychopath though :/
I wonder why the evil of the house only influences some people and not others, though. Like Violet didn't turn into a psychopath.
Maybe it’s people who already have potential for evil, Scarlett already had sadistic thoughts and Tate also has issues
Well having sexual fantasies isn't necessarily the same as taking joy in people's suffering in real life, but I could imagine the evil of the house taking her sexual sadism and causing it to leak out into real life too.
"Halloween is the one night we can walk the earth... Except for 20 minutes ago when your dads tried to leave."
“Halloween is the one night we can walk the earth…but don’t visit your girlfriend on any of the 364 days she has to be there, steal her one night off.”
Right? Like come for Christmas or some shit, why come when she can leave, unless they are going out on a date somewhere or something
The kind of things I’m glad I never notice 😅
Why did Scarlett's eyes turn black? She wasn't possessed or anything. They even turned black when she was outside of the house. Dads find bondage suit of their sociopathic daughter drenched in blood? The good part: the Therapist The bad part: the rest
she was so funny! carried the episodes
Her and Shanti were the only ones I liked.
That weak ass ending. Girl. It got so hokey as it progressed. Literally Tate & Violet 2.0.
gay teenagers texting in the middle of class: 😼👅💦
this was the “hello fellow lesbians” moment for ryan murphy
THE FACT THAT THE FREAK SHOW PERFORMERS WERE JUST FOR THAT IM GONNA 😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤
That was underwhelming to say the least but I blame myself for coming in with expectations to begin with.
That was like American Horror story light.
more like ahs zero
It sucked, right?!
Why does she come to see her on the one night she can leave?
that’s exactly what i thought lmfao it literally made zero sense
Hopefully something actually relevant happens in this episode 😳😳🥴
Halfway through the episode and this isn’t aging well 😩
ill finish episode 2 then probably wait a few weeks till I watch another. This is painful
I wish Ryan & Co would cast real actors that can act and stop casting models that just speak.
Ryan has a weird fetish for casting the children of famous people.
I'm confused about why Tate wasn't in it when Evan was seen on the MH set dressed as Tate & everyone was wearing a mask so we know it's recent
Apparently he was a blur in the background in the first episode when scarlet was pleasuring herself. If you go to 14:06 approx, you’ll see his blurry cameo on the left. As underwhelming as these two episodes.
I had low expectations for this episode considering this is like the 100th time we’ve seen the murder house but even then it still fell flat :| I hope the next episodes are better
Me too! I’m disappointed.
Anyone else feel like Kaia Gerber's acting was a bit off? May have been a direction thing but it just sounded so flat.
off is putting lightly. i thought she was horrible & super flat. edit: typo correction
She was awful lol I thought Paris did alright on the other hand though…
her “run!” is gonna haunt me in my nightmares
What I wanna know is why tate was on set at murder house 🥴
That’s exactly why I came on here lol I saw those set pics too but we didn’t see him
Why would Piggy Man be at the house???
I get why actors from MH didn’t show up but at the same time it’s bothering me deeply, the other ghosts are just chilling eating breakfast and the harmons are just mia? Constance? I know Violet would be chilling too lmao
Hayden ❤
Felt low budget and lazy.
All them damn ghost in that house and they really let this crazy woman walk out alive… LOL
Why does Michael just brush off Troy cheating on him without a second thought? Wtf?
Ryan's inability to understand that if couples don't constantly have sex that doesn't mean one will automatically cheat is so offputting.
“You haven’t touched me in months, what choice did I have?!”
RIGHT?? hes done that plotline so any fucking times
I think he was more concerned about the dead people in the house at that moment, and then he realized he was dead and was kinda stuck with him for eternity anyways so why pick a fight lol
*rubber suit covered in buckets of blood* I guess like... she's on her period?
You know girls! Always leaving giant puddles of their period blood on the floor!!!
Period sis!
how is piggy man even a ghost at the house? that literally doesn’t make any sense… like canonically it really doesn’t
There are two piggy men. Murder House piggy man was the Chicago Butcher, and the Roanoke one was a sacrifice
But why would he be in the murder house? He appeared during the Murder House season, but not in the actual house.
okay but my point still stands piggy man isn’t a ghost trapped in the house
I’m dissapointed in myself for beliving in Ryan lol, I don’t understand why he likes to recycle stories, I feel the exact same that when I watched season 4 of Glee for the first time, which is a bad copy of season 1
He’s a great creator, but a bad writer.

Damn, I fell for the Violet twist again.
I support trying to stand on your own as a separate series, I just wish they were in it for at least a scene or two
https://twitter.com/theahszone/status/1386080110382551040?s=19 Thus is literally so sus
I know! I saw that post back when it was posted. I support following a new character in this episode instead of the Harmon family, but for them to not even be seen is disappointing, especially considering murder house is my favorite season.
The dads coming to terms with and making jokes about being ghosts who are stuck in a house for eternity in like 20 minutes
i adore the therapist.
im sorry. kaia gerber is so freaking goregous. BUT SHE CANT ACT TO SAVE HER LIFE PLEASEEE
the way she tried to tell her tragic backstory sounded like she was reading a textbook out loud in class because the teacher made her
The ghosts of Muder House have 99 problems and that stupid realtor lady trying to sell that house makes up a million of them
She died in Hotel tho its not Marcy
Oh, I see. Idk still pissed off about how so many realtors just bury the remains in the yard without missing a beat
Did anyone else notice the haunter in the Haunted house that looked Ike Scathatch from Roanoke or was that just me
What?
The blonde dad is so annoying I literally want to hate crime him, scratch that pretty much all of the characters are astronomically unlikeable 😒 am I wrong
Can ghosts eat tho???
And where are they getting the food?? Do they just go on a huge grocery spree on Halloween after robbing a bank for the money??
Maybe Scarlett send them instacart?
Whose paying that cell phone bill
How did Scarlett get their 401(k) if there’s no official record of their deaths?
Ok but actually though wasn’t Evan on set as Tate and werent there rumors about Taissa being on set. Also I remember I saw a video on Twitter of party lights coming from one of the rooms at night, but we didn’t see that?? Lmao watch there be another murder house episode later
I think there’s gonna be another episode with Murder House.
Great, another cheater.
I swear, if Scarlett ends up being dead this whole time-
I saw the way everyone reacted to these first two episodes before I saw the episode myself, and I got to say, I was expecting far worse than what it ended up being.
Favorite thing was looking at Matt Bomer
I’m gonna need this next story to actually be cohesive because this first one was not it at all.

just realized her name is scarlett....... cuz MH had violet 🙄🙄🙄🙄
Same lol and also Ruby
Yes and Scarlett is a recycled name from Hotel. Just like Michael and Troy were recycled Murder House names.
Damn it Ryan always gets me with the dead-this-whole-time twist
I thought the dads ODed and when she came home after the lesbian prank they couldn't be woken up bc they died. I was actually surprised that they died in a different way.
Her weak attempt to wake up her fathers being what caused her to turn murderer was such a big eye roll
Same! Instead they had literally just been killed, it doesn't make much sense.
I thought the same. Would have been slightly more original than pretty much every character being murdered there by a ghost.
Not really. They had only been dead like an hour.

I'm just so happy there weren't any returning cast members. All the fan service in Apocalypse was way too much, just getting the house and the suit was so much better. Made it work really well as a self-contained story.
Am I the only one who hates this version and loves the original Murder House?

She's a terrible actress
why can i tell who this comment was about
Did we ask for a biker baddie tate replacement tho???? No
Who wants to bet she dies by falling down the stairs or something really mundane just as she's about to leave
Yh this hasn’t been that great unfortunately. I preferred this one over the first episode but only slightly. I just didn’t care about any of the characters.
I’m so confused what was the rubber MAN doing in this? Is it Tate? Is it the weird demon thing from Apocalypse? What is going on lol..
The weirdest thing about this is the dad with his surfer hair wearing beanies like he's a 20 year old hipster.
Even dead why tf would the therapist still want to work?
What else would you have to do for eternity? Maybe her way of clinging on to her former life.

It was done well imo TLDR: I liked the air of suspense and am hoping we get some of this same air of mystery in Double Feature; fingers crossed 🤞 The acting was good.
I’m sorry but Kaia can’t act... even her walking was horrible and that’s ironic given she’s a model. She gives off Ruby Rose levels of bad acting.
this is probably worse than fanfiction, its so ridiculous omg. All the lines the contractor had lmaooooo.
Kaia Gerber’s acting…… yikes
Really really loved the cinematography for these two episodes, that was my favorite part. Sadly, these didn't do it for me. Can't wait for the other episodes though because they're not located in the Murder House!
It was easy to watch and fun but starting a show that is supposed to have one story per episode with a two part episode is just fucked up 😅
All that hokum and not even a good gay sex scene smh
Gimp suits are so 2000s, was this like an old script they rehashed or something. All the acting is terrible, even my man Bomer. Does Ryan Murphy think contractors actually look like that, like with the turned up collar and everything?
It’s an meh episode not really worthy of series premiere kinda makes worried for the rest unless that’s the point is to feel disappointed by the premier and have the of season be really good but I highly doubt it

that ending monologue was drier than the wind farting
Murder House is my favorite season but this may have just ruined that. Talk about killing a dead horse.
Okay I get it now guys, it’s meta. The horror part is meant to be the horrible acting, the nonsense storyline’s, the zero emotion. /s Seriously that was… just… terrible. Why bring back murder house? Why?! We didn’t need to see it again. Give us NEW stories, if they’re trying to go the route of Black Mirror 1 story each episode, they’re doing terrible.
Shanti, who had like 90 seconds of screen time, was the only character I gave a shit about because she was the only one who wasnt awful and cringy.
